While we're on the subject of leaping on lynch bandwagons (ala BM), soc was awfully eager to jump on BM without any more than the usual provocation.

Just re-reading the write up, it was very specific on which part was "paid for" by the nWo. Perhaps there isa need to look into KTF further?

Relatively certain that's just Hogg being true to episodes of Nitro at the time. Those paid presentations were a regular feature, and the commentary team's reaction is almost verbatim of their original reactions when the segments debuted.

There's certainly not going to be any power attached to that, whereas I can see a very obvious power at play in being able to include your own information in a write-up.

Did you miss the warnings against metagaming?

I'm not metagaming Hoppity. I stated my reasons for voting for you. The last bit was to be amusing. If you would care to explain why you jumped so quickly onto an obvious frameup then I am all ears. Until then my vote stands.

He has a point, BM. Why the eagerness to leap on the KTF lynch when the rest of us were still on the fence?

So the only acceptable move for me is to follow the crowd? KTF had the red writing. It is not obvious at all that it's a frame up. Maybe it is maybe it isn't. But that's as good a lead as any. I'm all ears for better ideas.

I'm just trying to do my best to contribute ideas. If everyone just sat and waited for someone else to do something we'd never get anywhere.

Yes KTF had the red writing. Then it was followed up by a quite reasonable explanation/theory. You offered no further insight, just a vote. To me it seemed you were on maximum boost hoping for a turbo. Let's face it, KTF is a usual early target. He would be considered a pretty easy mark as far as getting bites from a fake write up. The bites didn't happen, so you decided to get things rolling.

Role block/investigate night 1, kill attempt night 2. It is the mafia way.

Hoppity's reasoning is week, but not necessarily a sign of guilt IMO. I've got no doubt that mafia would've jumped on around those middle stages for a lynch once the ball got rolling rather than try to orchestrate it themselves.

The power is reliant on confusion and assumed guilt. Mafia were the only ones who would have known it was coming so for them to set it up and then try to orchestrate the lynch almost immediately would be a nub move.

What further insight? I voted because red writing. End of story.

And wtf is "maximum boost hoping for a turbo"? I voted middle of the night. There was no way you'd get a quick turbo lynch at that hour with so many votes needed.

The middle of the night is key. I imagine your comrades were asleep. Did you not read the thread before voting? There was a whole lot more info than some red writing. You generally do read before voting & put a bit of thought into what you do. Seeing red & voting isn't your style. Pugz on the other hand....

To assume that bm doesnt mess up this bad is false. Not two games ago i pegged him for mafia after something stupid he said and got him lynched. He was indeed mafia.
