I’m stopping in Brisbane with about 18 mates en route to an exotic surfing destination next year.
Got any tips on where to stay and go out ?

Avoid the Valley, it’s a f**king shithole. Around the new Howard Smith Wharves is a great place for a night out, short walk to eagle street as well.

Meriton is close to these places, can get some nice three bedroom units etc.

I hate seeing Brisbane get it and will be most peeved if it become annual. It should be at Bankwest next year. NZ the next. Melbourne because the 2 headed charnts down there would go to watch snails race in the name of sport.

Dont think they can really have such a big event in another state until whichever state it is has a team and a following.
