Magic Round

Sea eagles have their home game against the donks at suncorp.
Whose advantage?
Incredible how the same teams always get that little leg up.
Every time.

Manly have been taking their home game against Brisbane up there for years now. It's Manly's decision.

I read something yesterday that the Sharks are coming home on Friday morning and a lot of the other clubs are flying their Team out the day they play. Sensible move.
The players and the public in this carnival environment can be a recipe for disaster.

Some players can’t help themselves unfortunately. Hope the Club has warned players about Thursday night after the game. A lot of young blokes in the team at the moment.

If you want to promote the game of Rugby League why not promote the game in Adelaide..

Make too much sense when in reality 'Magic Round' is just another leg up to the Donkeys. How embarrassing for the NRL they are struggling.

I have never understood the point of this round and still don't. It might make sense in a developing market but makes 0 sense to do it in Brisbane.

Maybe they can move it around, the Sharks could do with the financial windfall of 8 games at Pointsbet Stadium next year...

Imagine the party at Northies on the Saturday night...

I'm predicting a logistical disaster. Get up there, thrash the Tits and get out.

NRL are struggling to start games on time as it is. 3 Games, 6 teams on Saturday. No on field warm ups.

Just can't see this going smooth.

Edit - What is the weather doing? Hate to be the last game if it pisses down all weekend.

Nice weather
I’m predicting a dismal crowd for us and titans

Titans crowds are shot house as it is.

Will be a dominant sharks crowd. A few titans fans sputtered about

I would have been keen to get up there for the 4 days and all games.
Monday and Tuesday would have been a write off too

And don't forget the one bloke in a souffs jersey. There is always one.
Ha ha Quigs...

Last year I went to the doubleheader when Manly beat Broncos and Titans? played someone else...

Neither Sharks nor Rabbitohs were playing.

I wore my Sharks jersey, and, sure enough, there was a random bloke in a Souths jersey.

We had a good laugh!

The dunnies at the Caxton will be getting a work out you’d suspect

Actually
I’m stopping in Brisbane with about 18 mates en route to an exotic surfing destination next year.
Got any tips on where to stay and go out ?

Yeah maybe but, then the NRL gets brickbats for taking it away from league heartlands.

It’s a lose lose for the NRL

I hate seeing Brisbane get it and will be most peeved if it become annual. It should be at Bankwest next year. NZ the next. Melbourne because the 2 headed charnts down there would go to watch snails race in the name of sport.

Dont think they can really have such a big event in another state until whichever state it is has a team and a following.

Maybe they can do Perth when the Storms wheels fall right off and they get ejected from Victoria
