It's a shame we have done all the TV promos for fox etc and other still images with Southern Radiology on the front when they won't be there this year.

I wish they could have got is sorted earlier or even webt with CSFC for the promotions.

You also can't buy a jersey when the season starts this week but luckily most supporters probably have bought some merchandise after last year and it would have been a slow start this year anyway merchandise wise.

There has been a lot of seasons since LG when we just couldn't get the timing right.

I wouldn't have thought that Southern wanted out. but more that they just needed to.

Yes I know but we all knew they were most likely gone so it's not a great look for the rest of the season though, maybe they can reshoot the FOX promos?

I don't understand this way of thinking. Who cares? It's money in the bank, the new sponsors are the ones that are losing out on pre season exposure coming in late, why should anyone else give a toss? I don't.

Not the end of the world no doubt, just a little unprofessional and whilst this one isn't completely Cronulla's fault it still a bit disappointing and this is maybe the 4th or 5th year we have started a season and the major sponsor hasn't been on the merchandise and the jersey has been unavailable.

Can't imagine other teams in other leagues around the world going through the same issues year after year.

Would love a big company and long term deal.

You don't think it wrong you can't buy a sharks jersey? Seems like a list opportunity and this has happened regularly over the last 10 years.

Nothing wrong with aiming high, pretty certain our aim is to be the best across the board and the good news is we have the right people in place to get us there so hopefully we are not in this situation again for a long time.

Let's say they released a 2017 jersey for Christmas with the current sponsor on the front (Southern) only to change sponsors the week of first game. Our friends in the "Win a Premiership before I Die" Facebook group will be furious that their jerseys weren't the same as the players.

So instead, everyone bought their Premiers Jersey if they wanted a Christmas present and the club waited until a new sponsor was sorted before releasing this year's jersey.

And the best part? I don't have to go read that Facebook group so I keep my brain cells.
