League financials run from October to October I believe. that's why teams are now getting in early on renewals in sept for the next season to boost those figures at the end of the year each year.
we lost 600k. every other club in Sydney lost heaps.
Broncos and Souths made money and they have double the membership (also says they are spending a lot too)

if you can keep the net loss at under a mil...with the LC and etc its not all that bad.

these " are why theres gonna be a cap on off field spending.

I don't believe the losses are real losses.

These figures deliberately exclude Leagues club contributions to make NRL clubs look bad so the media can run with their constant sky is falling story.

Leagues clubs exist to fund League teams. The Football club runs their business knowing they will get Leagues club contributions, and presumably how much.

We have one thing to fix. All of next years gear ready to go no the 01/12 of the previous year. Think Xmas sales. We have never achieved this. Every year a stuff up since online began. No jumpers, no shorts , no socks, no bags NO SALES. Groundhog day.

But... there was a shed load of Premiers Merch available to shift for the Xmas market - if the 2017 jersey had been available, many would have purchased that instead of the Premiers range. As it is, most people who want the latest jersey will still go out and buy it, so then the club have sold both Premiers and 2017 items to the same individual, probably getting more $ out of them in total.
I doubt they'll lose money having done it this way.
