If I had NOTHING to hide why the hell would I give a rats?

You are sounding very worried there may be something to find.
No, I doubt there is anything to find. I also think the NRL shouldn't just be allowed to show up and whatever they say goes whether it be legal or not.

I also think that the NRL instead of leaking like a sieve should be doing this quietly.

If nothing is found the Penn's should sue the NRL for brand damage.

As much as i hate manly, and i hate manly fans.
Non NRL/Club assigned laptops should not be provided.
The amount of porn on those badboys would be worse than a night spent at brookevale.

Out of curiosity, if the NRL stipulates handing over of material etc. in their licensing agreements then I think they are well within their rights with their demands(may also extend to personal material, who knows). If not then I understand Manly holding their ground. Either way, its just a sh*t look for the game in general.

So your ok with all the clubs now telling employers to use their own phones and computers for work just in case. Seems you are suggesting a good way for clubs to cover salary cap cheating?

Get in the real world champ. How's an employers recruitment going to go with "hey, we're going to need you to do some dodgy shit, so we aren't going to provide you with a work phone or work laptop, we expect you to provide your own"?

We don't know whose laptops and phones they're requesting. I don't use my mobile phone for work, it's a personal phone. I'm not going to give it to an incompetent organisation like the NRL for an indefinite period, because I need to use the thing.
