Yet, culturally predictable but ironically exclusive.

What other clubs are having Pride jerseys?

It’s a tough one, I get the “outrage” from the general public about how these guys need to be more inclusive of the LGBTQI community but the reality is that if it is a big part of their religious beliefs then what is the difference between standing up for pride movement vs standing up for religious reasons.

I’ve no doubt they are doing it based on a solid foundation of their own beliefs which they have had their whole lives.

This is a topic that should not be trashed in the media as it’s a slippery slope.

What are your thoughts about the point in the article that betting and alcohol are also against their religion, yet they have no issues playing at 4 Pines Park or major sponsorship with Sportsbet? But they are taking a stand against the pride jersey?

My thoughts are 1) I don't know their religion and 2) therefore I don't know if that is fact or emotive sensationalism.

Some kinda Christian faith I assume.

Me. meself I don't give a stuff really but I am of the opinion and have been for years now that there is so munch promotional overkill in just one lousy league season.

A jersey for this a special jersey for that, pink ones, blue ones, Anzac Day going for an entire week (and I'm all for commemorating the day - but a week long sheeze), chics week, didgy week, fancy socks, beanies ........ yeah all good things but I think it is time to pull back a bit and just play the game.

And all these so called special cup games between clubs, honestly most of the youngens wouldn't even know who was who.

But then again the NRL and the way it is going wouldn't know if the system is f**ked or not.

When they’re not at home, I like to dress up and parade the neighbours small, furry pets in suggestive attire….downright X-rated filthy if I must blatantly confess.
I would like the NRL to be more considerate and not place prejudicial omission from a jersey, those of us who have these, shall we say - proclivities, that really, should be considered “the norm”.

Spot on Quigs - it’s a dead set bore.
Hence I’m off to Henson this weekend for Beer round and look forward to Covid round in support or all the poor supporters stuck on the lounge in their PJs talking gibberish and feverish with the c19

You won't be saying this for Round 24. Emu Park Round.

Shadowboxer..... Mate it put a smile on me old dial watching that live stream from Henson last week.

Bluebags -v- North Sydney. ... what a blast.

Dead set I got the shivers when they panned out and saw the gates high up on the Hill. It brought back memories for me. My old Pop was a mad one eyed Newtown supporter and he, dad and I walked from Sydneyham (up on the princes hwy opposite the old brick works) all the way to Henson to watch the Bluey's go around. I can't remember who they played but I loved it. I can remember going through the gates and seeing the big hill. And the small old grand stand on the other side.

Is that the week after the Arnotts Biscuits Round playing for the Monte Carlos Iced VoVos Cup.

I hope we have a big Monte Carlos between the hoops on the black white and blue. As soon as Highgate gets one of those I'll have my order in quick smart.

You have been missed Uncle Sad. The propriety, the class, the equality and the broad knowledge base have been a chasm in day to day forum life
