The difference is this:

Most Christians would argue that:
1. Drinking alcohol is not wrong - just abuse of alcohol.
2. Placing a bet is not good management of money, but it is a personal choice.

However, the Bible speaks against:
1. Adultery
2. Homosexual behaviour
3. Having sex with someone that you’re not married to.

So, to answer your question, there is a big difference.

The hypocrisy that I have seen first-hand has been that many so-called Christians don’t actually abide by those rules, so there is some truth to what you’re saying.

Yet they believe it's OK that Adam was bonking Eve. Probably Cane and Abel had a run too as they had no daughters

etc etc

I guess the difference is that alcohol and poker machines dont have “feelings”.

By standing up against these Pride jerseys, you are basically saying that you don’t like or agree with the lifestyle of people from an entire community. Imagine you’re a young, gay football fan. You follow the Sea Eagles. You hear that they are going to wear a pride jersey and think “hey that’s kinda cool, good on em”. Then you hear that 7 of your hero’s are refusing to wear it. You’d be a bit hurt?

Manly have just dug themselves a hole, regardless of where you stand on the issue. If they backflip and the team doesn’t run onto the park in the jerseys then Manly will cop a beating for not being inclusive and bending to the minority who refuse to move with the times based on an old book of fiction.
And woke isn’t a religion.

Apparently it’s a media beat up and there is a Manly player willing to go on record to say it is.

Manly have "come out" and stated... We don't care how you dress or who you like to f**k so long as you follow the Manly Sea Eagles.

Let’s say Manly as a club organise to sign their jerseys after a match and donate to a disabled charity. But 7 players publicly refuse and say “I don’t believe disabled people should have the same rights as ‘normal’ people. It’s against my beliefs and I’m not signing it.”

would that be accepted?

Yes. The Mystic Order of Fascist Ableists don't condone raising money for the disabled.
