Based on what you posted, you know SFA about the game of footy and really do need to give credit to football sides like Manly who have experience & heart.

Yeah, but you would surely doubt Manly (as a Wests supporter it hurts to say this; as gutzy as they are) could rise to the battle against a fresh Souths side.

What makes you think that??? They still need to get through a Roosters team coming off a week's break, not that it means a lot if South's are anything to go by.

The week off is never really a good thing unless key players have injury concerns. It just promotes complacency. Manly and Newcastle are battle hardened and are ready for war and that counts for more than a lazy week off imo.
