Lyon would fit in nicely at Manly, with all the other cats. You don't even care about what he did to Parramatta, just that you're likely to get him for 2007. No wonder everyone hates your club and it's pig fans.

Heckenberg  About as scary as cream pie. Another Parramatta reject your club builds itself around. How's Michael Witt going? You call Cayless a cat but use Heckenberg as your idea of a tough guy? Hahaha.

Kind of funny you're are already planning your 2007 season, and counting on Lyon. Maybe your club should try and bring up some juniors before you criticise Parramatta losing their's. You know why you don't lose your juniors? Because they all suck. Parra lose kids and are still topping the table in Premier League, and 2 points behind the leaders in Flegg. We have the best depth in the comp, but you clowns still go on about losing players like Tonga, who is doing NOTHING this year, playing bad footy.

Oh and FYI, Smith's contract ends in 2006, he's gone after that and likely Jason Taylor will take over, so don't go on with that BS Brian Smith still being there.

When Brisbane beat you, I'll be first here to laugh in your faces.

ParraDude_Jay,

What is most ammusing is that with all your "Depth" you still arent anywhere near the top in NRL.

Well done your topping the table in PL you should be proud, as its the best taste of success you will have for a long time.

And shall we talk about juniors and or trying to buy a comp?

Lets go through your team shall we.

Its a shame there arent any shops where you could buy a clue, becaus son, your in need of one.

Very rich coming from a Manly fan. All those Wests, Easts and Norths teams that have been ravaged over the years. Good old Arko getting the cream of the crop. Not to mention the money spent on Kite and Kennedy to get them to Manly.

Enjoy your time in the sun. As for the Eels fans trying to argue the point in here - lets just drop it. The only clue Manly fans have is the one Uncle Max buys for them.

Sour grapes by the sounds of it to me.......talk it up as much as you want about your depth and how much better your players are than ours :blahb: the proof is in the pudding and that will come when Manly play Parra.....Jamie Lyons, well if he comes well and good but at the moment we are winning without him and our centres are doing just fine!

Do you even know the real story as to why he left? I'm sure you don't as don't a lot of people, me included.

Heckenburg is going great for Manly, if you can't see that then and acknowledge he is playing better for Manly than he did at Parra, thats your problem. Witt is going ok, not great. Like to see him more involved with attack.

Nothing wrong losing to a quality side. It just sucks when you lose to a lesser team like Souths for example... ;-)

If he comes chile you may do well to learn his name. Its LYON. He's no relation to Cliffy ;-)

 Wouldn't mind if it was Cliffy reincarnated :p will leave the 's' there or your correction in this thread wont make sense!
Rainman, agreed, Hecks is going great guns and is the quiet achiever ever club needs....gets the job done with no fanfare!

Manly fans are very grateful for Max Delmege, the only problem with that is other Clubs supporters don't like it?

Paying for Kite and kennedy was worth it IMO. Was all the money that Parra spent on Tahu, Morrison and Stringer worth it for you?

Max's money getting Manly out of trouble doesn't worry me in the slightest. He's a business man and one day he'll want to see a return on his investment.

Tahu, Stringer and Morrison have been well worth it. To compete nowadays you need to spend money on the open market. Every club is trying to buy a premiership, even Souths. However when a Manly fan accuses another club of something that Manly have done it gets a bit rich.....

Was Manly so ahead of its time? Buying the quality players it needed back then to do the job for them?

Just asking the question, not stirring up trouble.

Maybe. Or maybe it was just trying to buy a premiership by stockpiling much the same way another club does it at the moment. ;-) The game back then wasn't the business it is today.

Will Max want a return on his investment? Maybe, but does that have to be in terms of money? Sitting on the top of the table may be ROI enough.

Very good point amigo......when I spoke to him after the Storm game (ok, he was full of jungle juice and very VERY happy  ) he couldn't say enough about how happy he was he had invested in Manly!

Remains to be seen. Maybe he will and maybe he will be happy with whats happening. I'm not being critical but at one point he MAY say enough is enough, particularly if he has to spend more. There may well be a day when the money isn't there....

Maxxy has plently of the moolah, not a worry there.

Hope you don't go for Chelsea, if you don't like ownership arrangements like this.

And if you do go for them, I suppose you have to support one winning team. :)

No juniors? Wtf?

Our PL side is 2nd

Our Flegg side is well in the top 8.

Our SG Ball side won on the weekend by over 60 points. The fifth week in a row they have won by 30+
