I think it's fair enough.

Ricky wants everybody just sticking to their role - he doesn't want too much from his fullback, five-eighth, halfback, hooker or anybody else. He's worried Hayne at fullback would dominate his halves like he does at Parra.

If Ricky thinks he's better off with a solid-but-unspectacular player at fullback then that's what he should do. Pearce and Soward already lack confidence. The last thing they need is a genuine superstar in the 1 jersey overcalling them.

Canberra's a hole but not because the people are slow. It's just a pretty quiet place, which doesn't have much aside from parks and museums. Peak hour traffic on their busiest street is more deserted than the quietest street in a Sydney suburb at 2 am.

A bit too small to be a regular NRL player but tonnes of heart and skill yet not as skillful or fast and wiley as Bowen of Campbell in their prime.
