The Roosters are not a proper rugby league area. Noone in the Eastern Suburbs really cares about Rugby League, even when they were winning in the early 2000's they struggled to get crowds, despite having a home ground that can seat 40,000+. Roosters should go play Rugby Union. I remember seeing them get 6 or 7k to S.F.S games even when they won their bradbury in 2002.

I'll be supporting the Dragons next Sunday, atleast they come from proper rugby league areas, particuarly with their strong junior base in the Illawarra region. The Roosters 'junior' base may as well be 'Greater Western Sydney'.

The Roosters will be the media favourites for sure. Not sure about neutral fans, but on this site there seems to be a pretty clear consensus of "anyone but Saints".

You stupid genius, in one of those years the roosters had the highest home average of any sydney side.

The Roosters will be the sentimental faves. That's why they'll fold. They can't handle the love, it's unfamiliar territory.

I'm going for the Dragqueens...couldn't stomach the roosters and that little androtop carney winning a premiership.

I don't understand the constant bagging and whining either, Roosters and Dragons are both great teams.
I like Canterbury, I like Broncos and I like Storm too. Don't see why they are bagged either.

Theres your first mistake :p Parra fans are NOT allowed to like Canterbury.

This is true,
Most of the rooster fans own no property in the up-scale Eastern Surburbs of which people like myself call home.

Their fans starting supporting the club when it was 2002/2003/2004
I used to see three or four flags flying on cars compared to the usual zero, it was uplifting for awhile but then it died out.

We like Dom Pérignon and Theatre not tattooed young men throwing each other around from end to end.

There's only 3 teams in the comp I really dislike, and 2 of them are playing in the GF. I'll probably support the roosters, simply because I'd like to see smithy finally win one, and we all know that the dragons supporters will be unbearable if they win. Oh and I can't stand Jamie Soward.

I don't really like either club, in fact the two teams i probably didn't want in the final at the start of the series are now playing each other, oh well, i'll be cheering on the dragons only because of Bennett, would be great if he could win a title with st george.

Why people bag Saints is beyond me - just as why people bagged the Chooks for so long. Neither club has EVER produced as much evil as the likes of Melbourne, Canterbury and Brisbane have. Good luck to them (and Wests - but I reckon you'll be roadkill)

Because they are a merged club who reek of arrogance and all their fans still consider them to be St George and not St Merge they sold out and became.

lol Gotta love these pole-smokers who mistake pride for arrogance.

I assume you also get your panties in a bunch when people refer to the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Rugby League Club as 'Manly' too.

Merkin.
