A bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, I love cooking shows, partly because I love cooking and partly because I find the spectacle entertaining/ I enjoy seeing the contestants who annoy me fail.

Anyway anybody else here a fan?

Yeah, Emma was freaking annoying. I hate Andrew too, he's an arrogant douchebag and he's terrible. Jules, Alice and Tregan and Wade can f**k off too, the rest are okay. If Ben cries again though he can join them, I felt embarrassed for him.

I’m not ashamed to admit it, I f**king love this show.

Thank god Emma is gone. She cried every time she went to the judges. I get the feeling she is one of those people that cry over nothing and then if her dog died for example she would just shrug it off.

My favourites are Kylie and Julia because they are hot and on the men’s side I like Ben and Sam. I can’t stand Alice, those glasses are ridiculous.

I forgot I hate Debra too.

I reckon Mindy's hotter than Julia, but apparently she's gay.

I didn't mind Alice at first, but now I find her annoying she's also up herself.

I hated Julia at first because she was so arrogant, but after awhile you find her amusing. Kylie gets a little too emotional sometimes and that's annoying. But they both are only really good at making desserts.

I think Amina, Audra and Mindy are by far the best, they take charge really well and are talented chegs.

All the guys bar Andrew and Wade are cool. I have a thing for good looking tradies so Beau and Andy are my favourites out of the guys (do sparkys and pipe layers count as tradies? Whatever they're hot.)

there is something about Kylie that really floats my boat, not only is she pretty good looking her personality and attitude are great.

I think this season has been better than the last one.

Amina has a golden touch, it will be interesting when the dreaded pig pops up in something more serious in the future.

Not a fan but watched some of it last year because we know Alana a bit (she came third). I reckon it would be a fun show to be a part of.

I'm kinda over the reality show cliches...

There must be an epic count down (in all honesty, they probably finished half a minute earlier)
They're all on a journey
They're all sad to see a competitor go (grow some nuts, you're one step closer to winning which you came on the show for)
They all fall madly in love with each other
Matt Preston seems like a pompous goose

Whatever happened to the good old days when home economics students who were blokes would get the snot smacked out of them at lunch time?

I watch it a little (I watched the second season frequently and my interest has wavered). I may be the only one who thinks this, but I thought Emma had a slight resemblance to Paul Gallen, short stocky build and the same shaped head. May have just been me.

I also wonder if they stitch the show up at times. As a viewer you never actually eat what they cook so you really have no idea apart from what they show you. I also believe after 3-4 weeks of the competition the judges already know who the most talented group are so the rest don't really matter. I am not suggesting they rig the winner, but if someone is bland, boring and no chance of winning if they try and offload them earlier than someone who is similar in talent but is funny or good for TV.

I like Alice for being kooky and having a personality. I cannot stand Amina, Tregan, Deb or Andrew

Mindy isn't as good as they seem to think she is, and Emma Filipo and Mario did not belong there. Julia is also annoying (is that blondie with the glasses and the cakes or the other blonde? I don't like either of them though haha)

I also don't get why they have a massive contingent of kids there (18-21). If they truly are as passionate about food as they say they are why don't they just do a TAFE course. FFS one of them was 18 years old and had just started a commerce degree.

I hope Andrew goes. He's arrogant and not that good. He's just a weak contestant.

Julia's arrogance annoyed me at first, but to be honest it's refreshing, she's just honest and doesn't filter herself.

Alice is a bit of a cow, but she tries to conceal it behind that bubbly quirky persona. She proved she's a wolf when she said she didn't want Emma on her team.

Emma never went poorly in the team challenges, she can follow instructions without screwing stuff up.

I think if I was on a twelve hour shift with someone that cried that much, I'd quit myself.

Was I the only one who got the impression ben and Emma had hooked up? slight excuse for his reaction maybe?

Tregan irritates me in team challenges more than any of the others though. Her sneering face with her constant attitude every time she's asked to do something would have made me violent by now.

Yeah Tregan is a douche. Her tats and nose piercing annoy me too.

Nah, I really think it was because Emma was around the same age as some of Ben's students would have been and he missed teaching. Or at least I hope that's the case. She said he was like a brother to her, would be so wrong if they hooked up.

It sounded like the losing dude died this week... those two metro mansculpters were talking about him as if he was dead "he was a smart guy"... WTF
