Gay Dave making sure that Cronulla was represented
I'm not "Outing" him, Dave has always been a proud gay man, and good on him.
At the Townie one night we were drinking together and my best mate says to him " I don't believe that you're gay!"
Dave says, "Mate, I love fast cars and fecking sissys!"
Priceless haha
until he started to put his arm around me
"Dave, I'm not that way inclined. Take your arm off or it gets broken into ten pieces"
He laughed,
he'd been there before

This song, written by a massive Sharks supporter, Stew Cunningham. Yes another good mate o mine.
He played in Proton Energy Pills, which became Tumbleweed.
Tumbleweed wish they could write a song like this.
Honestly if you love music, this is the best Rock n Roll song. Jay from the Weed (RIP brother) was playing bass.
Listen to it, this is a true Sharks man.

Here's the thing right, us as Sharks supporters are an energy of the Sharks as a whole.
If we as supporters are going to keep saying negative then the team will be negative.
I'm not being fluffy here, I'm talking of what we as a collective can produce.
I'm posting songs of known Sharks supporters for a reason.
You listen, you nod, you feel good.
We do have something that a no other club can emulate, its rockk'n'roll, music.
No one else has our pedigree.
We're something different.

I've not played this on here. I recorded this in Spain, but the vid was done the day after lockdowns were called for covid. My great mate was with me and said "f**k it, lets just do it" so we made a vid for this version of my song in the Natio.
To keep with the game day thread, my mate who filmed this also did all the Powderfinger film clips, including the one with Choc Mundine.
He'spretty good.

Howse this, true story.
I wanted to buy new undies last week, I have a penitent for Tradies Undies so I looked for a deal going on.
Big W had the best, 3 x pair for $22.
Cool I thought, I'll buy 2 x 3 pair for $44.
But lets check Amazon, just in case.
Amazon: $ 34 for 6 x pair (including delivery) plus a free gain of Prime for 30 days
So $34 for new Undies and the cricket for free!
Score!

CHASE THE DARGON!!!!

Love it.
f**k the Dargons.

Love that one Bubby, though haven't listened to it in a while.
Thanks for posting - I'll have it in my head for the rest of the day now! :)

While you're posting songs from Sharks fans, here's one from multi-Golden Guitar Award winner Luke O'Shea. He's an absolute Sharks tragic and a great bloke.
I had the honour of playing alongside him for a "live in studio" session ~12 or 13 years ago.
Sadly it's never seen the light of day. But it happened. I've got pics! haha

Fortunately, playing hockey whilst this game is going on.

It's hard to get excited knowing that no matter the result - nothing will change. It's also because the rivalry just isn't there anymore. Going to take a big losing streak before it matters again.

Yep we’ve beaten them 11 out of the last 12 times we’ve played them and 9 wins in a row.

I just see games against them as two extra byes each season.

But I enjoy the Sharks beating them up each time just to turn the knife a bit more into their sorry rotten carcass of a football team.
