I!!!!

But in all seriousness, after last week, I can't see us being a pushover here. We down on troops sure but attitude seems much better. Probably a loss but it will be tight if we lose.
I hope you're right mate.

I guess we beat them at home back in 2017 when they were in the top 4 and we were dead last..

I hope we can get plenty of ball to Best. Parra right side defence has been bad lately and we seemed to try to get Best early ball a bit last week.

Are we looking at Clifford & Watson starting halves based on Connor’s effort last week, or will AOB’s hard/soft spot for Mann be showing?

Sadly, I think if Klemmer and Frizell were available, we might have got what should happen, but I expect Watson to drop back to the bench as a roving middle. Hope not, I would like comparative form to affect Kurt Mann’s role in selection just once.

edit: Just saw the Knights website. Watson 6, Mann 14@7. WTF?

Clifford is going to have it tough his first game... Basically only 3-4 real NRL stardard players will be playing for us this week. Can't wait till we see a full strength side.

Selection policy:

1) Desperately source form halfback with strong kicking game.

2) Recruit form halfback mid-season, alleviating injury toll.

3) Select form halfback when sourced, however only in the extended squad, allowing time to integrate into team complicated, imposing attacking structure.

4) Further injuries force form halfback’s expedited selection, however options to be explored.

5) Relieve form halfback of starting duties, conversely selecting underperforming, exceedingly less talented, second-grade standard utility, lacking skills in the areas of passing or kicking.

6) Complement underperforming, exceedingly less talented, second-grade standard utility, lacking skills in the areas of passing and kicking, with a second utility, albeit of a much greater value regarding team performance, also lacking skills in the areas of passing (improving rapidly) and kicking (non-existent).

7) Introduce form halfback into game when the scoreline is 26-0 in favour of the opposition.

Can’t see a problem.

I have no idea why anyone gets bent out of shape about the team list until an hour before kick off when it's actually set in stone.
There is no legit reason for Clifford to be named 18. Tuesday gives impression coach has no idea what to do. He is the one giving that impression. We saw Watson named 13 for weeks, yet Sue started every time.

Toohey now claiming Clifford will start with Watson.
