Trial form didn't do much to sway my opinion of this side. Sure Hastings is a good mix, but we're going to need Simpkin to really lift for 80 minutes to drive our pack and halves around.

On a positive Tamou can't plod around for 18 minutes before seeking residence on the chair.

Storm got Cheese back through that All Stars loophole nonsense that Souths exploited. Storm don't have Munster, Grant, and Papy is in high doubt (saying that Meaney could destroy our edge defence).

I'm not looking forward to the game and think it's an NRL con to screw us from game 1 and see Madge sacked first.

I think it’ll be a scrappy affair with either side winning by 6

no Munster, grant and paps for storm will see their attack plod but I think their defense will still be strong

One of the golden rules of tipping in rugby league is to NEVER tip against Melbourne in Round One. I cannot remember them losing a game in the first round.
In saying that, I agree with the above posters in that without those big Storm names, we should (and I stress should) be able to contain the margin. I'd accept a 1-12 loss.....worse than that would be a sad prospect for our season.

I just have a feeling about Jacko, I think he will shine.

TBH, I wished we were playing them at full strength, just to see where we are at. Not the end of the world, if we get beat as long as we have a dig.

The forwards played with some energy last trial, hopefully that is the norm this season.

We’re all her for life what ever happens 😂 😂 😂

We aren’t exactly at full strength either

if fit, Doueihi, Talau, Blore, Tamou and Liddle would all be starting

Wankfest now Cumbank Stadium isnt a happy hunting ground for us . Not that we had much of a chance but playing there whilst they now have the hectic snow cheese in im not liking our chances.
So do the opposite and Bet on us 😀

Doueihi is the only one missed out of those guys.

Whilst this could be true if they are in our starting side it means the guys coming to replace them arent as good

I would also argue Doueihi is more important to us then Munter or Paps are to the Storm

Probably the best side we can field atm, I like the bench, Peachey can play just about any position.

I’m looking for a 66 point walloping. Inflicted by Melbourne..Shit why not. Nothing like a real flame up Madge and Brooks arse to really pique my interest next week. Otherwise it’s the same old going nowhere, maybe we should stick with Brooks and Madge ridiculousness. & Don’t doubt Brooks will Fk it up.
