Match Discussion: Round 1 vs Roosters @ ANZ Stadium

If we win this (and it's a big f**king IF) it will come down to three reasons:
1. We win the battle in the middle. When you compare the middle forwards I reckon we actually come out on top. If we can really bash them down the middle we will start to ask questions their flashy backline won't be able to answer
2. Roosters are expecting to destroy us. They are probably laughing at training that they are up against a NSW cup side. They will get on the front foot very early but if we can grind ourselves into the game they will shit themselves and their combinations will fall apart
3. Something big will derail Roosters game. Cronk or Tedesco getting injured, or players being caught having an orgy with a poodle, whatever it is, something big needs to f**k their preparation or game plan up

Our only hope is 3 & specifically where Cronk is the one who gets injured coz our reserve grade backline has buckleys of stopping the 1-7 juggernaut the rorting effluent are fielding against us particularly with Mr Perfect guiding them around with his pinpoint accuracy kicking & passing.Its an unfortunately glaring mismatch in the backs.Geez we need Nofa Fonua & Milne to quickly earn there selection in the NRL team & we also require Gamble to prove to b our shrewdest recruit since the great Gareth Ellis !!

Wow no luck. Whatever happens happens now. I heard today reason Nofo is in reserves is because he had niggling injury still from last year and is getting eased back in reserve grade. It's not a form thing.

The only positive is that our replacements re injuries r so much better than last yr although I’m massively pissed off that a major recruit & our best forward from ‘17 r injured b4 commencement of round 1 !
