He is on what $750k a year probably our highest paid player roosters would have like 5 players on more then that just shows a we have to pay overs but our overs is nothing compared to what most teams have for half their team.

And to some degree it's thrown the chooks as well. ...much harder to come up with a gameday matchplan against a pumped Marshall at 6 than Reynolds playing a more predictable first game at his new club....still a bummer for Reynolds as he sure didnt deserve this downer

Honestly we need gamble to be a gun and in first grade 17 soon.

I’m just sorry Twal is lacking match fitness still let’s see how he goes.

Good to see Nofo cross for a couple of tries and Sue. I really like Sue he is the grunt we need against the likes of JWH. Except he is level headed.

How many good players did we have.

I'd pick Fonua in first grade all the time. He does a tonne of work. I think he starts the sets off better than Nofo. Sue & Felise were really good. Heleta was great as well. Gamble looks like a gun and I hope he gets a go in first grade soon and he worked really well with Sironen who was good as well. Nofo was good. Garner was good.

Yep,everyone mentioned were really good, regardless of what the critics say about the WT it looks like we are on the way up,last season we had certain players who were only concerned about their own self interest,at least this season this squad looks like they all want to be there which can only be good for the club.

I think that was always going to be a grind and happy we did that 1st up, it showed them that they can do it and against one of the teams mentioned as premiership favourites.

As for Brooks, I think it will come on the back of his defence. He did well IMO and didn't have Reynolds who would have been his 5/8 until yesterday, perhaps he's still overawed by Benji, who knows.

Bring on the Storm !!
