f**k, surely we got this one. Us by 10, with Walters MoM.
Though typical, they won this week and will now get on a role.

I agree with the posters above. It is absolutely in the NRL's narrative to get the Broncos on a roll. We will get absolutely nothing go our way in this one.

My team for this will be
1. AD (Needs to add more in attack)
2. Nofo
3. Jennings (Just a fill in until BJ is ready to go)
4. Mbye (He is lucky to be in the team)
5. Talau (This is his spot for the rest of the year)
6. Walters (Will provide more in attack than brooks)
7. Marshal (Will control the team better from 7)
8. Aloiai
9. Grant (He needs to play 80mins he can handle it)
10. Clark
11. Garner
12. Leilua
13. Eisenhuth (Been going good at lock)

bench
14. McIntyre (back from a head knock he is solid off the bench)
15. Mikaele
16. Twal (1st game back from injury is good off the bench)
17. Lawrence

How do you rate the team for this game?

The season could potentially be shortened again if NSW has to go into lockdown, so we need to win here and not rely on catching up wins later in the season.

I like it. I don't want to play Jennings but we are lacking troops. I don't know what to do with Brooks. I think it's a bit rough to drop him because he has been significantly better than Benji and Reynolds but he needs to step up a couple of levels.

I'd probably play Lawrence in the centres although it could be a disaster and Walters off the bench. Jennings drops out which I think is fair enough. Walters needs more chances though. He can spark the team.

I doubt Jennings would be fit but I like the idea. I think keep Lawrence on the right side and Chee Kam off the bench.

I think Clark is not big enough. He gets smashed every carry. I would pick Packer instead of him and keep your bench almost as it is. Chee Kam takes Lawrence's spot who stays at right centre.

You cannot drop any of the halves who played last week. Our forwards are beyond bad. We dont have anybody who can run the ball forward and get over the advantage line. Brooks never had any chance to have an impact because we were always carrying the ball out from our own goal line.

It's a problem that has plagued us for 10 years at least.

I like ur 6 & 7

I’d prefer rowdy as right centre as he went well against Souths & Tommy Talau as left centre.

It’s time for the coach to bite the bullet.Mbye & Jennings r not up to it at NRL level & neither is Brooks as a halfback. If Maguire continues picking Brooks & Mbye his coaching tenure at concord will b shortlived.

Some ppl may not agree, but it’s worth a shot.

1. Brooks (Speed, Support, RUN!!)
2. Nofo
3. Lawrence (Cover BJ)
4. AD (Tall, safe, can step pass ppl to try line)
5. Talau
6. Mbye (Cover Reynolds or let them fight over it)
7. Benji (Leader team looks up to, can manage the game and make things happen)
8. Aloiai
9. Grant
10. Mikaele (He needs to start)
11. Garner
12. Leilua
13. Eisenhuth (Until Twal is 100%)

14. Mcintyre
15. Clark
16. Twal
17. Chee Kam

I have a strange feeling that Brooks might excel in the no.1 jersey. If not, then FMD.

Bronks will have all their rehabs back and the NRL need the Bronks to be winning as they have them on prime time every week and need to get the ratings to go up.
My guess the roll out someone like Cummins or Klein to get the job done

As Clint Eastwood said, "you have to adapt and overcome". We got this.

mmm It’s Brookes lack of game intelligence eg being able to quickly change a plan when needed and lack of initiative and creativity and timing and ability to spot a gap that concerns me.I can’t see him excelling at fullback without these. I can see him looking just as lost at fullback as at halfback. It'll take a lot more than good busts of speed. (And he never finishes off those runs at half back for TRY so he may not be running as fast as his little legs look). And I don’t think he has a step of any note either
Talau’s a centre who can also play on the wing...Once he settles in at centre with his aggression and skill I think he could keep things moving forward much more than is happening now with dummies and around the back of opposition passes inside outside steps that he’s adept at all of which can create opportunities for try’s ..
Lawrence looked ok at centre but he has to tap the ball back when he goes for the high ball..
Jennings looked ok on the wing for that last game and he’s Madges love child
(Hoffman also needs to be given a chance at centre - his natural position - he did catch all the high balls that came his way in first game showing natural confidence and can play on the wing if needed)
I can see Jennings on the wing although Id like to see a Hoffman wing / Talau centre combo hopefully before BJ comes back.
...Not fussed who partners Benji prob makes no difference..that floating right side pass by Reynolds that hardly reached Benji on the vital 5th tackle down the right side causing Benji to be tackled 15m out last game made me wonder why he’s even playing. Can he even spiral pass?
