I received a text message from a mate I hadn't spoken with in ages. It just said: 'Cogger must have nudes of AOB to keep getting picked'.

I hope you’re referring to the Souths game in regards to Cogger because he was rubbish against the titans
No, last week, Admit Cogger is not the answer but Gamble isn’t the best either and did nothing to say give me a go, needs a big one this week and it could be late selection change. At there best it’s Gamble

Cogger was awful last week. His game awareness is non-existent. He doesn’t make as many errors as Gamble but he doesn’t try anything either and doesn’t have the excuse of returning from multiple injuries.

The Souths game he managed to not get in the way which I’ll give him some credit for as even that seems hard for him.

Cogger went ok last week, Gamble not so good in Cup, me drop Brailey, Gamble on bench, rotate Crossland, Gamble, Cogger, Elliott, 6, 7, 9
Yes, what we want out of our halfback is 0 trys, 0 Try assists, 0 forced drop outs, 28 run metres and 4 missed tackles

Man if thats going ok then the bar is touching the ground

Think Gamble was similar in Cup but has the excuse of regaining match fitness due to injury.
Problem is we don’t have a 7, everyone is unhappy with Cogger and Gamble needs to show he is ready by having a better game.
If not this week I am confident Gamble will be our 7 very soon

Gamble in Cup on the weekend had:

1 Try
71 Run metres
1 Line Break
3 Tackle Breaks
2 missed tackles

I really think the answer is if we are playing Sharpe at 7 next year….we move him there now and Gamble to 6

this year is a write off, give Sharpe some experience at first receiver now (even if he has the 6 on his back) so his first game at 7 isn’t under the distractions of the Vegas weekend

Cogger was awful, his only contribution was kicking the ball away on the 3rd tackle multiple times for no reason what so ever, obviously trying to pin the titans into a corner but with his pop gun boot he just gave them possession 20m from their own line.
Gamble isn’t necessarily the answer but I’d argue he’s a better answer than Cogger, he’s atleast a bigger body and isn’t timid in defence and brings abit of that Reed Mahoney type grubbiness that can put the opposition off

I remember when we spoiled Queensland legend Darren Lockyer’s 300th game. No doubt we’ll do the same for Gags.

Remember when we lost to Tigers (who iirc, was last and without a win) for Pearce's 300th at home? Lol
We always sink for an occasion, rather than rise. Always. Parra are still paying over $2 for the win, although the odds are shortening quickly. Free money printer (this is not financial advice).

I got $100 on the Titans last week at $2.65 and it was the surest thing I’ve ever bet on. This will be the same, Parra playing better than we are right now.

Ah yes "looking to reserves" i.e replacing the injured winger. I guess with Gamble on the extended bench that he could still come on, but I'll put down the copium pipe because we all know Cogger is a coach favourite.
Copium pipe back on!

Now we definitely need to win to keep Gamble in/Cogger out of the team.
