Not happy with that one but ok your guys comments sound encouraging...Looks like Dallin W Z could be our centre by swapping Clearys favourites Packer and Taylor ...just reading between the lines ...

No way DWZ will come to Tigers as a centre, his own sense of self entitlement sees him as a fullback, one of the reason cited for wanting to leave Penrith. Penrith are crazy for not giving fullback to him, they have no one better at this point

He must have fallen out with Cleary. Prob said what was on his mind like s good captain. Even better if fullback.

Looking at our draw, it is really hard to see us making the 8

bye
raiders (h)
cowboys (a)
souths (h)
rorters (h)
eels (h)
raiders (a)
knights (a)
cowboys (h)
bulldogs (a)
eagles (a)
knights (h)
dragons (a)
sharks (h)

You would say probably 5-6 wins max (not including the bye); hope I'm wrong.
I had us 10-12, but starting to see a bit of consistency coming into their game. A few minor defensive issues, and one or two NRL players short makes it hard. I can see us slipping into 7-8, I think we’re a chance in every one of those games. Despite last nights defeat there were some good things come out of the game, our attack is starting to look like it’s coming together, execution still not perfect but nowhere near as disjointed as it was (no Mbye) players are starting to move as a unit, the ‘jerkiness’ wasn’t so bad. We maintain those shapes against lesser sides we score points guaranteed. Brooks is getting better, over 20 touches last night, his defence was pretty darn good, got the feeling after the last couple of games that he is about to throw off the shackles and hit his potential. I think he is the one player Madge is making a difference too. We have to work harder on our wrestle against the big sides. It hurt us badly against Parra, Souths, Roosters. In the first 20 and a couple of other patches last night Souths absolutely dominated the ruck speed. Cook made us pay (by far the best rake in the game). Liddle was good when he was on the park. Madge needs to bit the bullet and go with the young fella, Robbie is playing well but the time has come. Might be time also to make Matulino a bench prop. Momirovski was a bit sus last night, turned his back to the attack a few times which is worrying, needs a couple of games.Thompson added some spice at the back, that’s his spot as far as I’m concerned, extra involvement, safe looked far better than Mbye, not even in the same class. Left and right edge plays need work, Matterson got the ball 15 times last night and I only recall one because he kicked it, we lacked the good angles from the back rowers last night, Garner and Lawrence both ran those plays with conviction. I think I’d like to see Aloia,Matterson and Twal (I think he is wasted in that traditional props role) hit the edges more with those Lawrence style angle plays. Some good signs for tiges.

Just read one of those articles about Mbye contender for origin utility .Madge talks like he loves him re organising defence Things “we don’t see” and “his attack is coming along” like it’s not there yet ..yip we know that..Shit I think we in trouble ..he’s not going anywhere..Good to see Naufaloma back give him a couple of weeks to warm up and he’ll start firing.Good to see Jennings drop a ball over right on the tryline. Is Farah past it? I must have missed something...I havnt watched the whole game yet I thought Liddle was supposed to come on later on when everyone else slowed down..I’m sure I saw Farah come back on ..that was confusing ..

Farah had about half an hour off. I think Jennings has been reasonably solid for us, sure it was a bad mistake but not one that’s reflective of his general play, it was a one off. One area he does need to work on is his kick return metres. He needs to grab the ball and run as fast and had as he can straight up the guts. Two of our back three are always reluctant to take the hard yards. Nofoaluma is a pretender, his most prominent move last night was running 45 metres across the field and ten yards backwards to take us back into our red zone. You’d think after a long holiday in the reggies he’d have learnt that you have to run towards where we score not where the other team score.

There was a strong rumour going round saying it was dwz and Nathan that had the falling out at training

DWZ asking for a release probably confirms that

League live app, story proposing Mbye as a bolter for QLD origin side:joy:. Please please please select him QLD. Give the Blues a 3-0 series win

This is one of those weird scenarios where him being selected might actually help us

hopefully he comes back from the camp like he actually gives a f**k too

Knowing the tigers they will probably give away a guy like Thompson to the storm or someone like that and buy DWZ.

That was a debacle of a refereeing performance. Cost us any chance we had and I'm happy we didn't get beaten by 50.

We did some great work through the week game planning the Burgess scenarios and Brooks was great out there along with the other players either side of him.

Unfortunately we forgot that you need to stop cook getting out of dummy half close to the line. That absolutely killed us. Lazy dummy half work let him ball play to multiple runners and the A defender had buckley's and none.

It just makes you wonder why we even bother when we aren't given a chance to compete. That last video ref decision was mind blowing. Play on to this point. Don't mind the blatant knock on......

I'd have no doubt whatsoever that Bellamy would be one of the coaches that have noticed him but (perhaps luckily for us) they're well stocked with quality fullbacks and their wingers are among the best and very durable. The club that would most need Thompson would be Penrith. ..they desperately need a FB and winger and Thompson probably feels grateful to Cleary for bringing him back to the NRL and backing him from game 1 last year....he seems a quiet guy who takes his profession very seriously so he may not want into the childish stuff being worked through over there

Yip Nof didn’t stand out but what I’ve always liked about him when he’s humming is he’s cocky as fk. Ali level cocky with heaps of swagger esp after a try. I love that shit
