What do we think about going for penalty goals as often as we do?
I don’t mind for a few reasons. They have been adding up to a fair amount of points.
Unlike the last few years, we don’t have as much trouble getting to the attacking 20.
Will be interesting to see what we do if behind on the scoreboard by 4-10points and we get similar penalties.

I am ok with it as they took the right option to go for the try in the 1st half when they scored to go to 16 to 6.

Minor groin injury flare up. Won't be able to train until late in the week so unlikely to be picked for Origin but shouldn't be a problem for the Knights.
Perfect timing really, the bye will give him chance to rest up and get it better

I say take the 2 every time. There was an article looking at the premiers of the last few years and they are always the most penalised or there abouts.

Its a tactic no doubt. Look at JWH last night on Ponga in front of the posts. He's give away 2 points confident that they can defend against a try on a repeat set. Taking the 2 every time is often the difference at the end of the game.

I wish the refs would start sin binning.

That really annoyed me. First off, the ball was dropped in the tackle, that’s why our guys stayed on a bit longer, to see if the touchie saw it, then Tedesco takes it a metre to the side for a quick tap (the guy who got tackled was on the mark still).
I was at this time going bezerk

I wouldnt mind niggling Pearce’s groin thanks to the form he has been in the past few weeks.
Zac Woolford was less discriminatory re form, back in October. Why would Pearce look any further than Monday’s opposed session with “Canterbury” Cup? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Saw that. Surely we aren’t seeing this through red and blue glasses. It was late and trying to slam Pongas head

Spare a thought for Lamb. Was given the keys to the Ferrari last night and didnt know how to get it out of first gear.

it was late but certainly not the latest tackle we've ever seen, so I can see how some may say nothing wrong.

What was bad about that tackle is you can see JWH distribute his weight to the tip of his shoulder into KP's head driving it into the ground - that was deliberate. Just as well Klemmernator wasnt on the field at the time otherwise it may have got real nasty.
