I think he out played our outside backs more than the spine.. when looking at them it would be pretty easy actually .
How much did he set up compared with the 5 of them?
You look at the top teams. All spine members strategically kick, are ball players, regularly record line break and try assists. If 1 is having an off game, the other three lift and cover for him. They are cohesive units.
Our spine just runs around trying to win it themselves with one off, low percentage plays. They don’t work together to pull a side to pieces. They are dull and easily contained.

Hard to believe a kid young enough to lace up a boot for under 18s can carve up an NRL team....albeit one of the dumbest, low IQ footy teams in the comp

What an embarrassment of epic proportions.
Not only did he carve up with the ball, but his defence at the back saved at least three tries. Nathan Brown is talking shit saying he wasn’t the best player on the field.
We had every advantage and just drowned...yep that was an embarrassing loss.

Madge said in the presser that this squad has worked hard to improve their play and that all the losses this year has built resilience in the group.
Excuse me for laughing Michael, but this bunch of pussies are the opposite of resilient.

You still tuning into the public relations bullshit? Ffs your good name is taking a battering and it’s sad to see you embarrassing yourself

14 rounds of the 2022 pre-season left before the genuine relief of the off season and the new squad.

No more army camps and fitness stuff. A couple of laps round the oval and a three hour spa or sauna should suffice. Chug a few beers. Actual hard work f**ks us completely. We’ve learned that.

We know Madge is likely to hang around, so the whole show rests on Hartigan.

I hope he’s telling some porkies he will go to hell for.

Anyway seeing I’m at the game next week, I need to wave something around to be recognised. Maybe one of the office juniors.

Listened to the game on radio and even the commentators were getting the shits with our dumb play, How do you let a team who plays with 12 men for 20 minutes beat you,

Watched some of the tried Nofo let in. Should change his nickname no No-fi as he had no f**king idea last night...
Who was the 5.68 play the ball person ?

Hard to believe that a team that has a 7 who has played over 150 1st grade games, a 6 that has played 150 games plus 3 games at the game known for pressure and toughness etc in SOO, a centre who has played over 200, a winger who was playing his 150th game, a prop and forward leader who has played over 270 games plus 12 for Australia and 14 SOO games couldn’t play at such a level that a rookie playing for the opposition, wouldn’t walk off thinking wow that was a lesson for me, how good are they, how good were they?

Nah the kid walks off thinking, how shit were they and how shit are they?

I would like to think our players are embarrassed, however I don’t think they ever actually are

As long as they collect their :moneybag: :moneybag: :moneybag: these lemons don’t care.

Purely academic and worth about as much as the steam off this morning's coffee...BUT..if we'd had held onto and paired up "nothing specials" Momo amd CT guaranteed we would be up at least another 2 or 3 wins by now on defensive intellect alone.
Plenty on here were frothing at the prospect of turfing Momo and Thompson. Be careful what you wish and all that...

This is a fair point but those players aren't exactly like RTS or Walsh are they. I mean I'd rather we signed Walsh.

No offense but this is so f**ken stupid. Walsh looked like a superstar. He would have looked that way against any team because he is quality. We don't have a player at that level and we haven't had a player at that level for years if ever.

Experience is so overrated.

The kid walks off knowing he is a star but he probably knew that before the game anyway.

I thought getting rid of Momo was the right decision and I still think it was. Laurie is a lot better than Momo.

Me too. It burns me that the Warriors go from having one star fullback to another, yet it took us til this year to get a marginally competent replacement for Tedesco. Add in the fact that we had to sacrifice the best centre on our books to get said replacement just makes it worse.

RW and RTS aside,Watching last nights game I was thinking how dumb are these two teams, two in the bin ,not overly smart, other team not capitalising and allowing opposition to post tries even dumber.

I think clubs are learning fast how to play with a player down. If you can keep hold of the ball, then a player down isn’t a big issue, imo?

The top 4 teams would have posted 6+ tries against each side last night, letting in maybe 1.
The gulf between them and us is a chasm so wide it looks like we’re playing different sports.
