Is Staggs going to be kicking for Bronco's? For some reason I'm foreseeing him having an absolute blinder, scoring a hattrick, setting up a few tries and kicking 6/6

He is there. It's at Suncorp. I can see us getting smashed.

Moving Doogie from 5/8 in the first place for Mbye was a crap

At least the big cowboy kid is being brought into a game where we should be competitive.

A win on debut lol.

The new centre we must have pinched off the streets of Penrith before the virus wiped it out.

Desperate times call for desperate measures…

Im fine with this squad.

Junior Pauga to the rescue! Honestly never heard of him. Anyone know how he goes?

Mybe moved from the interchange to jersey number #546457983245734543545566687 is about the only other change I'd like.
Anyone know the story behind Pauga? Seems to have jumped a few in the queue. Never heard of him outside the last few weeks
He was an absolute Jnr star for the warriors NYC side back in 2016, likely to play first grade in 17 however missed the whole season with injury. Think he went to the Raiders for a bit then played QLD cup last few years. Is 25 now, certainly not big (185cm, 90kgs) however plays well above his weight.

Specialist left center. Bringing out from his own end is what he loves doing, has made more then 300ms in a game on multiple occasions which is massive for a center.

From what I’ve seen nothing screams ‘NRL player’ about him however center is probably the hardest position to stand out in nsw/QLD cup as the standard of halves is horseshit which means they never get good ball.

Haven’t been impressed with his defence, watch the highlights from the Parra loss the other week and he had a terrible one on one miss for a try.

From what I’ve heard he’s extremely professional and a great trainer which is what Madge loves, hope he goes well but not expecting a lot, good luck marking Staggs.

We really should have debuted Israel Ogden instead, I think he’s only 19 and probably nowhere near ready but has more natural talent then anyone else in our center/wingers, particularly Pauga.

Happy to be proven wrong but I don’t see Pauga as a longterm playee for us so what’s the point?

Plus he has the size for it. For reference Ogden is on the left, Pauga on the right

Good to see something new at least, sick of Madge sticking to the same old and praying for a better result.

Lets hope that Stefano has enjoyed his training and new environment for the past week, hopefully he has found a new confidence in his own ability and turns in a big one from the kick-off and drags his fellow forwards with him.

I'm happy there are changes but I feel like the players dropped were the wrong ones.

MBye, LL, Jet lucky to be in the team. Cini, Tuilagi, Simpkin/Madden should get more of a crack. Seyfarth has been our best forward lately

Dropping Seyfarth was criminal.

Does anybody else read our team line up for comedic value these days ?

As far as who'd i'd pick, I know it wouldn't be Mybe, Joe - o and LL

Half of them have their allocated seats for their position. The other half have a game of musical chairs to see who'll be playing where, who starts, who's on the bench, and who misses out this week. It's the only way to explain our team selections.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing this happen on Tiger Tales next Monday.

I think Madge is up to his old tricks and we have to endure another players liberation army half effort.

From the tiger tales trailer, I get the impression that the be and end all of our motivational effort appears to be Madge scolding the players.

They tend not to listen after a couple of seasons.

“same old” they think to themselves as Madge is swearing away for yet another non-impact “ I need the new Maserati”

If the players are genuinely in control, could be time for a player coach role. Maybe elect Twally as a compromise candidate.

But we are long overdue for the flogging of some unlucky team….Broncos fit the bill.

Qld have had their day on the sun. It’s all over now and anything qld needs a good solid belting to help them appreciate their place in the world.

Could not agree more.

It would buy Madge more time if he gave the younger players more of a go. At least then he has an excuse if we lose e.g "my job now is to blood younger players." I could cop that.

Garner made 9 runs for 76 metres against Souths. He didnt want the ball in the first 20 mins when we were getting smashed. How would a player like Blore view those stats? He gets 15-20 mins a week when the game is over and is now dropped altogether. The guy was picked for the emerging Blues squad (which suggests he has a huge future) but does not get a go.

If its the same guys letting the tries in on Sunday I am quite ok for Madge to get the boot on Monday.

I’m pretty confident Tim will get to the bottom of things, one way or the other. He will identify the dysfunctional dynamic in the squad and between the staff and the squad and suggest ways to fix it.

Some credit needs to be given to Harto and executive for predicting that Madge would not be able to climb out of this without help, which is what many of us said earlier in the year.

This does not excuse or support the lack of effort and the shocking treatment of members for a cheap cash grab as @macnaz experienced. I am waiting for baited breath for his apology as that will influence my and my family’s emotional and financial investment in the club moving forward.

Blores stats last week were not first grade standard.

To be fair is there even one single ref who gives us a fair go ?
Nope. We recruited an ex-ref to work on the interpretations and are even worse.

This game is one of those ones where we almost have to win to avoid the scrap at the end of the season. It's also one where we will probably jag it to give the fanbase renewed false hope that a finals birth could happen (before Manly put 50 on us next week).

I'm thinking Wests in golden point.
