Fed up with seeing Elliot ragdolled? What are you on about. Dead set Elliot has been one of our best backs.

Wardle is horrible.

Paea probably should be a level below nsw cup let alone promoted to nrl because he has 'experience'.

Your team hurts my eyes.

If you don't know what I'm on about I'm not sure you watch the knights play. Of all the controversial points in my post and the side I named (and admittedly, there are a few), you take exception with my assertion that Elliot gets ragdolled. I can't remember where but I remember reading somewhere in the pre-season that Elliot himself wanted to put on weight. His hit-ups are without a doubt the most ineffective of any player that has played in our backline since Brown has been here.

He's. A solid player, great under high ball, defensively makes solid decision, he's on par with Ken sio in that area. But yes on hit up he does get pushed backs fair bit, not the biggest or strongest player. No doubt why Brown has courted, Moga and SKD. Needs big strong outside backs to help forwards.

Sio and Elliot will be great back ups next year when injury hits.

Also. Whilst they are small they have big hearts. Both put body on the line from minute 1 to minute 80. And I have great respect for them for that.

Has Elliot ever broken a tackle? A few length of the field tries has fooled people about his actual input.
He's safe and fast when he has nobody in front of him.
He's also incapable of bending the line and a weak defender. He has improved a fair bit but is still mediocre overall.

So Sio or Gagan? Have not watched lower grades but Gagan does not seem to be doing a lot this year.

We seem to have a problem with wing, our two best, Ross and gagai should be playing left and right, others, gagan, Sio, Elliot in reserves/backup, Meaney fullback

This is a winnable game, just like a bunch of other games this season. But I don't want to get my hopes up given how often we bring our worst performance when we're playing another shit team.

On the matter of Elliott, he's basically Todd Polglaise 2.0 - lots of heart and a reliable performer, but he gets smashed in a lot of tackles and often driven back and really struggles to make metres when coming out of trouble, which is pretty much a pre-requisite for being a successful first grade winger imo.

I think he's a good back-up option to have but when we've got a fit backline he shouldn't be in the top 17.

On the Foxsports website they are saying Gagai only needs 140m in the origin decider to have the most run meters in a series in 19 years.
Surely this is a gee up!!

He made a shitload of metres in Game II after the blues opened up for him. I think he topped Game I metres for QLD too.

Don't see how anyone's surprised. He ran for over 250m against the Tigers

Wing is his position. Let's him run and hides all his flaws

The guy is a world class winger. Based on form if the Aussie team wad picked tomorrow he would be a lock in.

It looks like we are stuck with Hodko on $600k a year for next year and this year is a write off so I don't really have an issue with Brown giving him one last shot at first grade to see if he can recapture anything. If he continues like last week then he should be dropped for good.

Don't all fullbacks get ragdolled? Especially when there's more than 1 in the tackle. There's not many fullbacks built like a forward in the comp.

Reckon we are going to see a very committed performance today. Just don't know where the points are coming from.
