Well the optimism that I had at the start of the season is well and truly gone. We have nothing. The only tries we got yesterday were an arsey deflection after a head high and a blatant double movement. Against the knights who had their 2 best players gone after 15 minutes and down to 12 with 15 to go.

Back to back spoons look more likely than unlikely

I just don’t know what to make of this. We’ve bought some very good, and some pretty good players yet somehow look worse than we ever have.

For most of the decade I got angry, last year I just laughed, now I don’t know what I feel, just numb to it all I think best describes it.
Sometimes when you add some gems to a bucket of shit, you just end up with shit covered rocks.

Before the season kicked off I was fully supportive of Sheens. I believed we had a forward pack that would match it with the best of them. I thought Brooks would improve behind a pack with such go forward.

Silverdale was really pissing me off with his negativity telling us he was only trying to save us from disappointment. I wish I had listened to him. My hat is off to you Silverdale, in fact I am eating it right now.

Got to agree with T D O M the spoon is looking like heading our way again. 16th last year 17th this year.

We need an exorcism performed at our training facilities, stadiums , on staff etc as he we are plagued by the demons of mediocrity and have been for years
. Klemmer should be ashamed of himself. Hardest effort he gave was being a 20 metre hero to Hastings. I would love for us to hire Bellamy to oversee our setup when he quits the Storm.

I have not seen a team where one player lifts at critical time and the rest of the guys just continue to plod along getting dominated. From the get go the whole team should have been ripping in. This is not a skill issue, this team does not put in and has not done so for years no matter who is recruited. If the team just put in in for just the last 15 minutes, they would have won comfortably, but to be honest by that time I didnt care.

I cant imagine what is going to happen to these guys when they play a ruthless team that doesn't have half their spine knocked out in the first 15 minutes. This could be a long 5 years and then a rebuild after that, Shit when does it end?

Also, absolutley no bearing on the result but every drop out Newcastle made should have been a prenalty in front to the Tigers. The KIcker needs to be behind the line. Simple rule that everyone needs to follow except for Newcastle and Valentine Holmes apparently.

It’s a long season.

I’d much rather be the one munching out on the fedora Ned, gagging on the felt and being reamed by the optimists.

Im just tired of being death row every week.

I might have to spend the season bashing the bad willed trolls turning up to the car accident here taking photos of the injured and dying like that prick in Melbourne.

That’s where the halfback needs to grow a set and demand his players aim up. I don’t care that Brooks made 100+ metres yesterday, not his job. His job is to direct the ship, but he can’t. The bloke is a poor communicator period.

That was grim yesterday. We look a mile off the pace. Entire team looks slow and weak and is very easily contained. On the rare occasion we get some momentum, we drop the ball.

Absolutely yes to every point...the dropouts had me yelling at the TV loud enough the dog walked out

Im going to go a bit against the grain here and say that the effort is not the probem. Both games the guys have put in, moreso then they did at any time last year. Our problem so far has been:

* The 1/6/7 have been absolutely diabolical
* The coaching/gameplan/structures is a complete shambles

These two probably tie into each other so its a bit of the chicken or the egg first, however I havent felt that the guys packed up at any stage so far.

Yep, but to have no attacking plans (except give it to Twal) when at the opposition try line is ludicrous, no one knew what to do and some of these blokes are on near $1m.
Bring in Wakeman, he surely can’t be any worse?
Over the last decade, there are only 2 things that haven’t changed, Brooks and Nofo. We’ve had opportunities to get rid of them and ignored it, many seem to be able to see it, except the club?

The fact is, the season is all but over already, unless something drastic changes. Sheens is no longer up to it and someone in the club has a love affair with our 7.

I will say though, we have the fundamentals of a pretty good footy team, but need better game plans, if they in fact exist?
Marshal and Farah must be shaking their heads surely.

Brooks and Laurie can't leave this club soon enough.

Curse all those imposters out there yesterday. The thing is, it's the same shit every week. I don't know why this always happens, but when we have a debutant they're always put under pressure with a bunch of hospitable passes close to the line and always cough up an error. Where are our experienced players when we need points? Always go missing.

All it takes for the opposition to score is to spread it wide as we'll always jam in.

No heart, no pride. I can't blame any fan for not attending another game until things change.

I read a comment from Geyer saying would Klemmer have done that if it was one of the Saifiti boys instead of a much smaller man. We paid good money for Klemmer to Intimidate props not halfbacks...
