Sheens is a dinosaur and can be a dickhead but he will give kids a run.
We won four games last year and I don't see us winning more than 10 this year which puts us at 10th or 11th on the ladder. Based on that I don't expect a stack from the team this year, so give the kids a taste and see who responds and who folds.

I like Tumeth, just not sure he’s ready for NRL. Still only 19 and would have only played 7/8 nsw cup games. 183cm and 97kgs is small for a modern day outside back, let alone a back rower. In saying that he’s always been small and still made every junior rep team (NSW, Aus) throughout the grades.

Although small he’s extremely tough and has a great tackling technique. In the U20s origin last year QLD targeted him all game and I don’t think he missed a single tackle. His strength is his line running close to the try line, scored 2 tries in cup last week doing just that.

I’ll be surprised if he plays more than 20mins but that’s hopefully all we’ll need from him. Good luck to the kid!
I just looked up Victor Radley specs, he’s reportedly 182cm & 92 kg, so he’s in good company.

Where do you see him playing @Vic Mackey SR or Lock?

I’m expecting better results from Tim than Benji unless as @stryker has casually opined, Tim manages to Benji-proof the squad and we can sign some marquee.

Working with two “failed” juniors, they will testify that playing any game in the NRL is quite an achievement.

And to their credit, they follow the game and somehow recognise current and former players all the time on the street and car parks.

They are very defensive about players private lives, but they can be ruthless about on field mistakes, especially defensive decisions.

A bit nervous about Tyson Gamble coming into their side...Mann is a big loss but Gamble is unpredictable and will take his shot

Edit....sorry...got my Knights mixed up....( with respect) Mann is no loss .....somehow I got him mixed up with Bradman Best ( insert groan here)

he’s an out and out edge forward, if he’s played lock I’ve never seen it. I’d say he’s a similar style player to Garner but a more solid defender

Getting nervous about this one. I had the first 3 games as must win to build confidence going into the very hard run we have coming up that vic pointed out. If we end up losing the first 3 then we'll be lucky win the 4 we had last year.

We had plenty of go forward and field position last week and the backs need to aim up and take full advantage of the chances. However, as a mate opined in the off season "there's no use having a V8 when you only got a Diahatsu Charade to put it in."

For the younger members and the uninitiated, the Charade was a 3 cylinder 0.9999...L heap of shit that would struggle up a 20 degree hill. Anything more and you'd need a couple of mates to push

Luke Brooks. I'm talking about you

The Knights lose a player score a try. Lose another player score another try.
From what I have seen so far we are a real chance of winning the spoon again . Next year we might crack a threepeat.

Apparently they had to make 200 passes each per training session, looks like they didn’t do any defence or attack for practice?
This is another terrible effort.
