Not only are they scrambling well, they made some adjustments, one being not getting caught on their heels and the other was not turning their shoulders inwards in D.
For a long time our backs were tentative moving up in D and if you do that your line becomes staggered and your weight is on your heels (flatfooted). Players like KP want that to happen so they can burn you with their speed.
Instead, the D needs to work together from the inside at a steady pace, without hesitation but in doing that your inside cover has to work twice as hard because the opposition will cut back more often and run at angles.
They made that change yesterday if you watch the game again and it was even more impressive considering the oppressive heat conditions.
We may have turned the corner but let's see if we are consistent.
Also, in order for our attack to gel, we need more bodies in motion. It's way too hot for that, so the big lads like Twally and Seyfarth need more recognition. They gave more effort than the Eels fwds.
