I watched the replay of both teams last week, the chooks are a team in motion, all players running onto the ball into holes or supporting the man with the ball, the WT on the other hand were the opposite .
We were against Manly in the trial , but last week we played the total opposite and i cant work out why.I watched the replay of both teams last week, the chooks are a team in motion, all players running onto the ball into holes or supporting the man with the ball, the WT on the other hand were the opposite .

Maybe cos Canberra weren't missing their 5 best players lolWe were against Manly in the trial , but last week we played the total opposite and i cant work out why.
Because that Manly side wasn’t a first grade quality outfit? We were against Manly in the trial , but last week we played the total opposite and i cant work out why.
Yeah it’s not rocket science. Decent opposition always finds out those who are ill preparedMaybe cos Canberra weren't missing their 5 best players lol
We can because that Rooster pack is certainly not a competition leading outfit and our starting pack can get on top of them.Plus it’s been belting down here for most of the week and unless we get some heatwave weather, we are in for a slow and muddy track.
If we have a go, I believe we can compete
Lack of composure when the going gets tough. The wheels just fall offWe were against Manly in the trial , but last week we played the total opposite and i cant work out why.

Thats not why.Because that Manly side wasn’t a first grade quality outfit?
Firstly did you and the others replying to my post actually watch the trial ?Because that Manly side wasn’t a first grade quality outfit?
Rd 1 2018, a far better Roosters side than the Tigers had that day. Can't remember the last time we won against the Roosters. Don't think it will be this weekend, especially if we go away from what worked for us in the trial again.
Agree & it’s y im expecting a vast improvement & am looking forward to watching AD stamp his authority on our attack.Unlike Mbye & Brooks this kid has a high rugby league IQ & anybody who watched him in the Balmain juniors knows he’s a natural 5/8 & not a fullback. To take it a step further ,, our strengths were out wide ... and we f**ked around relying on our weaknesses ( Brooks-Moses) around the rucks to win... we may as well kept the same backline as last year if we are going to come up with such a shit game plan as that.
Thats not why.

Yes Manly were under strength , do you think im f**king stupid? , if we played the same as we did against the raiders we would have been lucky to have put on 18 points against the Eagles NOT 50.
Canberra as good as they are didnt stop us doing the things we did in the trial which included almost 30 players which a lot werent even 1st grade players ..
Such as Standing deeper, using the backline , fighting for offloads ,quick play the ball, supporting the ball carrier to name a few.
So over to you and others to explain how the f**k Canberra totally changed the players from doing that... the opposition can 100% defend and nullify that style of play BUT they cant make us not do it or try it ... we attempted ZERO of what worked against Manly and it has nothing to do with the quality of the opposition.
All true. The other thing to note was that the Raiders line speed when we were attacking their line was insane. We got caught with the ball at first reciever on a number of occassions after they rushed up. Its almost as if they were miles offside yet not called, that certainly wouldnt have been the case though.
