The two crusher penalties that have gone against us tonight have been very soft. However the defence on the back of that penalty is a f***ing joke.

TBH if I was Kev Walters I’d be giving Brimson the fullback jersey for QLD this year. I don’t think Ponga has been bad this year but Brimson has been carving teams up for about 5 weeks now and is making an irresistible case.

I'd have Brimson in there 11 times out of 10 on form. Ponga is great at carving up a soft game. Yet to show he can do it against quality tbh.

Honestly, our form has been pretty consistently bad for a while now. I cop a bit of stick in some game threads when we're winning for pointing out how bad the opposition is - but it's just the truth. Most of our wins, especially in the latter half of the season, have come against some very, very poor performances from the opposition.

We're rarely competitive when the other team turns up.

Agreed. I can't think of many victories we've had this season in which the opposition put up a fight. If they don't lay down and die, we do.

Since the Raiders game, our footy has become consistently worse to the point of being unbelievable. If 2020 wasn't the softest comp in years, we'd have missed the finals and if it wasn't a shortened season, I'm sure we miss the 8. As woefully bad as Pearce is, there are even bigger problems in relation to commitment and desire. This is really disheartening as a fan.

I know this will get lost in the flood of comments tonight but there was a kick for touch Pearce took on our 20m. We're down and need to get up the field and he literally got us 15 meters. He should have kicked it down for 40 meters.

He just doesn't care. I would want my captain to try gaining even a metre more on every play. Pearce doesn't care. He just puts up the same stupid high kick at the end of every set. I wish we had a captain and halfback who cared.

This team has been consistently bad for years now. It doesn’t matter who is brought in (players/coach) nothing changes. I honestly don’t think it will ever change and this is the best Knights fans will ever get, inconsistent performances and either scraping in finals or missing them all together.

Might need a rethink at the end of the season (next week) if I continue supporting this rabble or just giving the game up all together.

If you made a highlight reel of the season the saf's would look better. But Klemmer is the first prop picked for NSW and Australia because he always turns up

Klemmer is the first prop picked for those rep teams because of the reputation he built as a fiery physical prop earlier in his career, and because his stats still read well.

I think if he was just starting his career out now and playing his current style...he wouldn’t be making the same name for himself.

Still a good player. But I’ll take the enforcer model please.

Yeah, I've thrown about all sorts of theories over the years as to why this shit seems to permeate the club generation after generation. I really do think it has something to do with the town and environment itself.

I don't think it's that he doesnt care... he just isn't very good at football Yosh. It has been the same for the majority of a 300 game career.
