West Tigers did not quality for NSW Cup - 2nd line after Lower Grades:
3rd line = West Tigers play St St George in Flegg.
Canberra Raiders did not qualify for either.

Tigers were highly rated but then the domino effect - players getting injured meaning having to promote guys (eg who do not know the rules) from reserves to 1st grade and then guys being promoted to reserves from Flegg before they were ready.

Hopefully the Flegg team gets everyone back and ready for this weekend.

I’ve been wondering the same thing lately. I don’t think the mix is too bad, just too many duds in key positions. I think paps and kori will add some energy to the pack and help out the workers like Offa and Twal. When a winger (Ken) is consistently making more runs and meters up the middle than any of the forwards then you know some go is missing in the pack, is it from not enough salt? Maybe it’s just not the right pepper.

The injury list has been especially brutal this year but there’s no hope at all while they continue to play certain players regardless of how poorly they are performing.

The Titans are playing the Warriors on Saturday and will have a strong chance of winning that game. Even if the Titans lose we are currently one win and -75 points behind them. I always want to see the Tigers win but even if we win the wooden spoon is pretty much guaranteed at this point. As for the game against Canberra a win is looking unlikely, but anything is possible in league.

Please don't play the race card here. Yeah our roster is crap but don't put it down to nationality. There are plenty of quality Polynesians and there are plenty of rubbish Anglo's playing NRL.
What we need is a better mix of quality players. Simple as that.

Our backline actually looks decent for this game! Naden looks good on the wing and Starford To'a has some deceptive speed. Not really a fan of Garner at Centre though.

I don't think for a second he was playing any race card. Different races provide many different attributes to sport in general. Some backgrounds provide a powerful explosive element , some a fearless hard element , some a huge stamina element and some like our indigenous Australians seem to have this extraordinary speed and athletic ability . Also there are those from any race that could do any or all the above, but lets not make this a thing it wasnt meant .
Guess it just comes down to team chemistry really , any mix can do different things for any one team.
