I think this is a good idea as well Vic, too slow for an outside back but having the skills of a back could see him develop into a good backrower.I still believe his best position is second row or more ideally lock.
He has a good start as he seems to be a big build (for a back), does he have the desire or want though? Is it worth way way extra sprint work to remain in the back or way way extra defence work to play in the backrow?
Lawrence turned into a solid backrower coming from the cenres and Curtis Siro did the same starting out as a 5/8.
