He's all we have left. I guess Pearsall or Feeney would come onto the bench. Left of field idea- Mullen to hooker. He can pass and defend well and his left foot kicking game would give us another dimension. Could he make a Wallace style transition?

Its pretty harsh to only allow 1 wrong challenge per-half.

But generally i do like the idea (it will stop dickheads like Gallen whinging to the ref, since the player himself has the right to send it up and needs to balance the risk of f*cking it up)

You'd think so however it's not going to be ideal having a guy in his second game playing hooker playing big minutes/starting. I haven't seen him play much this year but would Krys Freeman be a potential option, not against Phythian playing there with Feeney on the bench but it might be a big ask for his second game in the position.

I'd enjoy seeing what phythian can do from hooker again. Won't do him any harm getting more exposure to 1st grade. he looked very comfortable last week.

Hmmmm very interesting indeed. Could be his future at the club. Feeney is a good 5/8 imo, he is a genuine running half, not a fullback not a centre, a half.

This game just got a whole lot more interesting, Mullo could go really well at hooker, he's got the skill set. Just depends if his body can take the extra tackling that he'll have to do.
