Isn't it a thing that most teams left side attack is their strong side, makes sense that right side defences will be weaker.
Having a bloke who tops the NRL for missed tackles on our right edge would have absolutely nothing to do with it though.

No 2 ways about it, this set was amature hour and sits on Pearce for mine. This is about calm game management and directing players on where they need to be. Pearce does have problems seizing the big moments unfortunately.
knights were laying all over the dragons aswell. dont know why not one penalty was blown. We got away with murder in that regard against the raiders. Gavet should have given away 10 penalties himself.
... any pass to Ramien. Bloke must be getting very frustrated.
Its the reason I would never want to play centre growing up. Amateur kids playing in the halves would rarely give any good ball to the centres. Would expect better from million dollar halves in the NRL though..
So 20 yr old Reed Mahoney can play 80 mins, make 50 tackles and put great kicks in to end sets late in the game all with career experience of about 12 NRL games.
Why can't we have that standard of hooker?
He must be one out of the box hey.
Danny Levi - 23 yrs old, 70 first grade games, played for NZ. Not yet able to play 80 mins (apparently), no kicking game.
That young Mahoney bloke is a machine, an anomoly in an otherwise bland world of plain hookers who struggle to keep up for half a game of rugby league. In a era of bigger, faster, stronger - the attributes of NRL players wearing the number 9 jersey have defied human evolution and their job description is one that requires only freaks to fill the position for an entire game of NRL each week.
Yep, why would any club want to put years into developing a hooker with modern day 'hooker' skills??? Not an important position in a team??Just too hard? An immense gross straw clutch??
Hate to have a player with a skill set like Smith or Hodgson for 80 mins a week.
Would be dead set against a Cook or McInnes too.
Developing skills in a player to suit the position being played is just a f**king ridiculous concept in the era of professional sport.
Just easier to have a utility back fill the position part-time?
Didn’t understand what you said, lol
