For me it’s not the results but how many points we’re conceding. Even when we win we leak a lot of points.

Put it this way, the way you guys are building it’s clear you’re on the way up(deservedly so, good coach, passionate fans).
As for us, it’s now about minimising injuries, Origin impact but yeah, it’s a good feeling. My feet are firmly planted though(most of the fans are like that to be honest).

The biggest difference this year seems to be the errors. During last year they really seemed to stop making errors but we had a lot of trouble scoring points with the possession we had.

Now they look a lot more dangerous with the ball but they’re back to making so many silly errors again and allowing the opposition to score off them

When we had Uate and Gagai it was clear that two players were making a lot of defensive errors.

Now they’re all over the park. I do understand though that with so many new players and needing to completely re-shuffle the side during games due to injury it’s hard for them to develop defensive patterns.

Or maybe we just need to face up to the fact that we haven’t been able to defend since the early 90s (apart from that period under Smith) and stop wishing for it to happen. It’s depressing. If the Tigers and Warriors can work it out why can’t we?

I wonder if we have special defensive coaches. I mean I think Brown and Potter are great coaches but let’s be honest, neither of them scream defensive masterminds. Might be time to bring some help in. It’s easy to say “let’s drop this bloke, let’s drop that one” but at the end of the day the patterns are terrible across the park.

People need to calm down, yes we've been beaten convincingly the last two weeks but tbh we've been beaten by two teams who could potentially be top 4. I doubt anyone here thought we were going to make top 4 this year so why should it surprise anyone they these teams are beating us?

From my perspective best case scenario we win some games against some lower-table or mid-table teams and we still geat beaten convincingly against the really good teams. That's how it is right now. People seem to be having a bit of a freak out about how we go each week when to be honest we're just not good enough as a football team to beat some of these sides.

We're not as bad as the score would suggest, our defence in the last 20 mins was solid and I didn't think our attack was that bad. Lamb had a bad game but it's also the first full game he's played all year so let's give him a break.

I agree with some others though that the Saifitis both need to fire up a bit because they're not giving us much off the bench at the moment.

Let's face it, most of us would have taken 2-2 from the first 4 rounds if we were offered it so let's a all calm down and look at the big picture.

We're just not allowed to have anything nice. We get a cracker first try and even before we get it, our only decent center is out for the season before he even puts the ball down. Then Sione just does does a Sione...him and Ross shouldn't see FG again this year.

There's nothing wrong with the new signings... it's the tainted hacks we hung onto that are killing us

No more Uate and Gayyguyy, yet we still can’t defend for shit.

Absolute rubbish. We lost because we let them have 60% of posession. You will leak points if you gift that amout of posession away.

They spent most of the last 20 mins on our line and we turned them away.

We completed at 80% in our first 2 games and won them. Go figure.

You are entitled to your opinion but look at all the factors, not just points conceded. This is a vastly better team than last year but they need sone time playing together.

We are ahead of the Cowboys and even with the Storm, Roosters and Broncos. f**k did u think we would really win the comp this year?

I've had the inevitable meltdown. I've put a fork in Sione and Ross, they shouldn't see first grade again this year. Lamb can go to the Beagles and stink them up. The big twins need a month in reserves.

Sucks so much about Watson and Moga. We need more dynamic forwards and a massive grub to lead them.

Watson was just ok and Moga was terrible, let's be realistic, Sione and Ross could be better but who do we bring in.

We lost because we made too many dumb mistakes and found ourselves defending in our own 22m for 65% of the game.

Everytime we looked on a roll a buffoon (namely Sione, Rossy or Lamb) dropped the friggin pill.

So frustrating...

The kids 21 and being playing first grade when most kids his age can only dream about it, played for the Roos and been selected in the emerging Blues. Argue as you wish about deserved or not, fact are facts. Greater minds ( pro players and coaches ) than yours think highly of him

Nah man, I want Sione to do well more than anyone. I just never seen anything in him apart from when he was on the wing and 2 or 3 games in the back rown a couple of years ago. He's an absolute liability now. Moga has been scratchy but he's coming off a long term injury with no pre-season under his belt and is a proven strong center in FG.

No one hates Sione... He's just not that good. I never seen much of him in the lower grades but he definitely isn't cut out for the top grade. No speed, no step, no ball playing ability, falls off tackles and gets caught out in defence...I honestly don't know how anyone can defend him anymore.

Watson was just ok and Moga was terrible, let's be realistic, Sione and Ross could be better but who do we bring in.

Moga was coming back from a major injury and we all know he was only going to get better from here. He was really strong last season....a beast at times. Watson had his moments but he was a gamebreaker who has the attributes and skills. Both Sione and Ross are just so out of form it isn't funny.... reserves will help them. The way Sione is playing I'd rather push SKD into the centers and bring Sio I onto the wing. Can't be any worse at the moment
