This is going to be tough. Penrith have one of the best squads in the comp and they are under the pump. They will come out firing.

Benji potentially out is a big loss for us especially since Brooks and Mbye need to improve massively.
We won’t miss Benji.Im looking forward to seeing whether grub gives us a tiny return on the ridiculous money we r paying him. It’s really a case of which of these b-graders is the lesser of 2 pathetic impostors !

The NRL is a business and I understand that but that doesn’t excuse IC deceitful behaviour,I fully understand the players he brought to the club being pissed off with him,and the silence from Gus about this topic i have always found amusing,if any other club did this to his organisation you wouldn’t hear the end of it.
Anyway time moves on and old wounds heal,in the end I think the WT ended up with a better coach in Madge and hopefully a win on Friday will prove this.

Hate to bring a dampener to this post but this is the way i see the headlines after Friday night.

Penrith back in form with big win over a fumbling Tigers outfit.
Nathan Cleary stars and Kikau runs riot.

Nathans comments after the game.
"I did it for dad as i could see he was under so much pressure all this week"

See how close to the mark i am.

05 we all hope TC is massively wrong however we know the script & it’s just the way TC has forecast it unfortunately.

I'm not doubting it. We need to turn up.

Honestly I like our squad overall. Our forwards are good especially our bench. The outside backs aren't great but our spine if Brooks and Mbye perform are pretty good. We also have options to replace Benji and Robbie.

The thing is Penrith have a quality squad. They appear better than us all over the park.

We can win. We all just know how inconsistent we are.

We get to see Reynolds in action. I hope both our halves kill their halves. We have them on the bench but that is it. If our spine plays well we have a chance.

We are the Weststigers.
When your team plays us . . . no matter how putrid their last 5 games have been . . . we will play you back into prime form.
When your superstar player has been out with crippling injuries for 49 weeks, he will return a week early to play against us.
When one of your best is destined to get a 6 week injury, it will happen in the last 3 minutes of the game against the WT. So the rest of the competition benefits from our suffrance.
When you throw 19 new players into your team, they will instantly gel if playing the WT.
I'm buying a new tube of lubricant for what's heading our way Friday night.

I hope we play well and beat Penrith and stick it right up Cleary. AND, if Reynolds does well and takes his opportunity , its Benji's turn to wait in reserves, if not. Benji is back asap.

Anyone else heading out there on Friday? If we win I am going to give it to those Riff fans deluxe - if I’m not here gloating next Saturday I’ve probably been stabbed.
If you are referring to gobbing off to the point were it gets a bit testy, Panthers fans don't fight in the crowd as a rule because of all the kids around. The car park behind the Penrith Cricket Ground next door is your best bet (historically) for a "hows yer Father".

Just tell any Panthers fans that you'll be winding-up where you'll be. I'm sure you'll be more than catered for....if you actually do turn up that is. There are very hard types out that way. Knives are used in the city cause they can't fight, so you'll be O.K. in that regard in Penrith. Good luck, and let us know how you manage. LOL..:)

All good I’ll be there to do the ono on one, as a tiger fan we will belt panthers fans, like you said not in front of kids but car park sounds good, a few boy from c’town will be there and all juiced up, can’t wait to see what panther fan bites when we give it to them.

Looks like we’ve got a bit of brewhaha cooking! Let’s do a WWE style 100 on 100 in the ballroom of Panthers leagues and sell tickets to it. Only rule is that no Methriff fan can take amphetamines before the fight, that stuff apparently gives you wings!

Winner gets custody of Nathan Cleary - I’d love him at the Tigers, he’d be great at clipping the grass at Concord Oval with a pair of secateurs!

Reminds me of when those two cuckolds Kristina Inu and Felitiana Mateo would play like a pair of busted tramps for 25 rounds a year, and then would face the Tigers and play like a mix of Andrew Johns, Donald Trump and Jackie Chan.

Sheesh we’ve had it rough as Tigers fans... when we win our next comp I’m going off the grid for 3 years. Find me somewhere in Bermuda still partying.

Haha, yeah I remember them doing that. There were also a couple of Roosters plodder forwards, forget their names, but they would absolutely carve up against us. We must have helped a few nuffies to secure decent contracts based on how good we made them look.

Oh yes, Ned Catic, Chris Flannery and the travelling gang of plodder cocks used to love drilling a hole in us back in the day. I remember sitting at Campbeltown in 2004, week before we got beat by the Dragons 50-4. I thought we’ve got the chooks this week, can’t get any worse.... next minute it’s 56-0 and Chris Walker moonwalks over for his fourth try. Almost torched the place then and there.
