Never said he was good, just that he tries hard, which none of our other players seem to want to do

He was definitely our best in the first 40

Moses wasn't that good mate. We were literally camped in storm 20 for 40mins. We scored one try where a botched Sue run had Moses dive over, it looked very messy. The second was brooks picking it up from dummyhalf, going to the line and giving a good short ball to ET to crash over. Otherwise we looked terrible and barely troubled the storm defence.

Just got back from watching this tormenting team.Instead of ggoing into the break with a 20 pt lead we concede the customary try just b4 half time thanks to the pathetic edwards.Where else would this bum hold a position in the 17.

I was standing not far from the tunnel & watching Webster on the sideline I wished if he could infect the side with his upbeat enthusiasm in that 2nd half.Geez we were sluggish & the writing was on the wall early in 2nd half that we would struggle to win.Who the f**k else concedes 2 soft long range tries but this unfit defense challenged rabble.

It's obvious that we will have to part ways with the fraudsters as they r worth a smidgen of the inflated figure the deluded swindler Isaac is attempting to defraud from us.Brooks is atrocious & moses is average at best. The upside is we have a blank canvas to work from & no excuses for not assembling a competitive team for'18.

I just cant c where our next win will come from.Anyone who thinks we can beat saints just look at there formidable pack who will dominate the middle next week.

This is going to b one heck of a long season ! Weve go nothing !!

Brooks was terrible though. Yes he gave that ball to Taylor but he muffed so many chances and put in a fair few poor kicks.

Moses wasn't good but his good plays to mistakes were a lot higher.

I like Brooks and his defence was great today but I don't think he is a NRL first grade quality half at the moment. If he was an average NRL halfback I reckon we win that game today.

I've been waiting for him to come good but honestly I don't think he will. It's not about the dollars on offer for Brooks now. It's is he even worth a first grade contract.

05 u r way to generous towards the abjectly inept Brooks.

I don't want to seem callous but I had a wry smile the moment he went of injured.I hope he never plays for us again. He is 1 gargantuan gump !

Ok fair enough enough. That's a reasonable explanation other than a "no"

I think this year is going to be the lowest performed Wests Tigers ever
Think we will be lucky to win 6 games.
2018 should have a totally different side hopefully.

No to what lol?

I said he tried hard am I wrong?

He was the only guy who chased those full field tries.
No as in he wasnt the best player ,he tried i suppose grant him that but i think the whole team did for the most part.

The fact here though is that Moses turns to shit without Brooks, especially if we are behind on the scoreboard and getting belted in the middle.

Brooks is not NRL standard but he makes Moses better, Brooks plays better without Moses.

It's such a frustrating and bloody mad dynamic.

We need to invest in a good pack first and foremost, then centres.

Halves are the least of our problems right now.

Madunit - the problem is that our halves want big money and they aren't deserving of that. They need gun players around them and the money they want will kill us when it comes to recruiting any players. I'm not even sure though that Brooks could win games with gun players around him.

We need another 2 outside backs. We also need at least one more backrower. Sue isn't up to it out wide. Lawrence is up to it but the problem is that it's every so often that he is up to it. If we need to move on some players that want overs so we can fill the gaps in our squad so be it.

You are though partially right. If we can sign the big 4 on reasonable money then we should keep them. We need a good squad. Paying fair money for instance for Brooks who is probably a reserve grade player at the moment will help us recruit players because we have extra money in other positions.

Im not sure its conditioning.

I think its purely mental toughness.

They didnt look and dont normally look lethargic in the second half (they look it when they are getting pumped but who wouldnt).

Its focus on drive more than fitness I think.

I tend to agree with this. It comes down to lack of leadership and direction on the park. I don't see anyone out there barking orders and revving up the troops ala Scott Prince in his time as captain at the club.

35 minutes was great but again our fundamental flaw is that we get so much field position and ball control and come away with diddly squat in terms of points. 73% of the ball in their half and we scored 14 points. That's just not good enough and a decent team would've gone 26-30 up. Noffa got robbed that try before half time which would've made us go up 20-0 but meh, there's no excuse for those 2 pathetic long range tries conceded.

Forget our halves and backs. We need some grunt in that forward pack. Woods and co need to be charging hard and straight onto the ball rather than trying to be halves and acting as passers. It's a joke.

Fair enough. Only said he was our best in the first 40 which wasn't too far fetched I guess. Can't say he didn't try hard though, maybe Teddy aswell

Anyone have missed tackle stats? I reckon Naiqamas would be diabolical. I think in one instance he had 3 grabs at Addo-Carr in one sequence

Time to f**k him off

Yes Kev was ordinary, very ordinary, and if rumours are true Cleary doesn't rate him so his time at the WT may be limited if Cleary becomes coach.

If Tedesco stays at the Tigers he might become another Tim Brasher. Only even seen his best in elite company for Australia/NSW as he was in terrible Balmain sides for 10 years.
Axl, you are singing the wrong song there. Brasher looked very good from the start because he played in a team that had forwards who put in, were tough, never backed down and played for each other, the team, the jersey and the club.

How good would Tedesco, young Suli and gee, maybe even Brooks and Moses look if they played behind a pack that included 5 internationals in Roach, Elias, Sironen, McGuire and Pearce?

After watching the replay last night, I liked what Gould said about Moses when he flicked that pass on late in the game on what, the 3rd tackle? It was dumb, it was immature it was trying to be fancy when the Tigers didn't need fancy. Imagine what Cronk would have said to a young Storm 5/8 if he had done the same thing? That is what pi55es me off about Moses.

As for Brookes, well I took notice of him last night and thought he looked better on TV than he did at the ground, to me, his backs let him down because they played very flat and he was in plenty of tackles as well. But really, they can both go surely there is someone running around in the Super League we can get cheap to replace either one of these guys.

What shits me is, jt came to to the joint spouting defence. Well our defence has never been worse imo. Just watching those lazy f##ks behind the ruck getting carved up by blair made my blood boil. Watching that embarrassment edwards and kev gets me going too. So after preaching defence for 2 years how are we stuck with possibly the worst 5 defenders ever to strap on a boot? And on top of that, the part that everyone used to love about the tigers, our attack, is totally f##ked. It used to ease the pain abit, losing every week but we used to put on entertaining games. This attacking flair has been coached out of them and now there is nothing desirable about this team, imo the worst wests tigers team we have ever had. Poor defence, poor attack, poor commitment, poor drive, poor fitness. Well the board will soon find out, if this is the standard we are going to dish out, the bottom line will suffer when no one turns up at campbelltown,or anz, or we lose our free to air games next year because of our shitness

We certainly have hit rock bottom & in every aspect of the game.

The fact is that purely based on our atrocious defence Taylor should've been sacked @ the end of last season. He was very vocal about emphasising & improving our defence over the last 2 yrs & it was a dogs breakfast over his entire tenure @ the club.
