I hope we in every game, no matter what's happening or who's in charge.

Then what? The club acts like the team that won the game is the answer to our woes, the road to improvement has begun and everything is a-ok again. Until we lost 5,10,15 more in a row.

We have won less games over the last 11 years (37%) than teams have won the comp (37.5%). Hell, 70% of teams have played in the grand final since then.

This is one of the most stringently controlled salary capped leagues in the world. To be consistently terrible in this league means you have to nearly proactively be trying to do the wrong thing. There are (now) 12 teams, then there's a gap between them and the titans, warriors, dragons and knights. Then there's us, looking up at those 4 from a huge distance....

Its not the players. We've always had good enough players to compete. Other teams have consistently proven it. It's the structure, culture and attitude of the club. In similar stance with that common expression in the US, I support the (soldiers) players who wear our (uniform) jersey. But I don't support the (government) club. And the only way to create change now seems to be a complete and utter failure of the club on a massive scale to make heads roll, as a decade has shown nothing else has worked.

Yes I agree somewhat, the clean out needs to start from the top then filter the shit out everything under it. It's not Brooksys fault he was offered $80000000.2 per season. Why wouldn't you go through the motions. ACCOUNTABILITY is a big issue, there's clearly none in all aspects with the club we all love.

Winning changes everything.

I believe it is the players who are accountable for their own performances and basically one in particular (who has been here the whole time), we have had too many (good to reasonable) coaches to say otherwise imo. The coaches and certainly the board don't control the effort of what happens on the field, that's on the players, imo.

Do you think we’d be a much better team with say, Nathan Cleary or Cherry Evans type player?

I do agree that we need to make a change in the board, get someone with a bit of footy nous on it, we hopefully wouldn't have then ended up with Sheens back as coach, though I give him credit for the recruitment this season, I thought the forwards he brought in were pretty good. They should have him kept in his role as GM of the footy club. Could use a few more backs though.

BTW, people are starting to call for change, which is great, I hope it happens, not sure why players would play better because of it though? But I do believe it will turn, just don't know when.

I know we are the most inept, pathetic excuse for a professional sports organization but jesus christ, it would really be appreciated by the fans if the starting 17 players could really just play like their lives depended on it. It's not like they aren't being paid well enough
Exactly, I don’t think the game is that hard to play.
If you don’t want to play, f**k off.

I think they have a few recent unused ones they could use.

@macnaz and I are going to stage an hold up of the armed ford falcon which they are being transported in to be destroyed.

They are on their way to Lees shredding machine at his legal office. Scheduled for destruction right after the players contracts.

Then we are going to send them to the families of US vets who fought in the Iraqi war.

Lee went off his head at Kenty and Fox.

I did preface my kenty commentary that “ if true” which is the wiser course with media.

Damage to reputation, well we didn’t have the best reputation to start off with lol.

Lees complaint will go the way of the feldt affair. Barking with no bite.

He won’t do anything too much with the media, because they are very powerful and the club hierarchy is walking on eggshells at the moment.

That’s our own fault for abandoning due process last year for mateship reasons. Everyone got a drink except fans and members.

I’m happy to go on the witness stand to give evidence for Kenty on this occasion.

PS: I don’t see Kenty retracting anything either.

From what I am seeing, someone gave false information and it wasn’t the club.

And if so, I think the club should produce a commemorative jersey celebrating the occasion.

Although it wouldn’t surprise me if the jersey depicted a different sport from another hemisphere, curling or something.
Maybe we can produce a commemorative jersey at the end of the year celebrating our 12 years of abject failure.

The jersey could be shit brown in colour, and titled 'a dozen years of depression.' It could have one of those shit emoji's the kids love as the team logo. That could be the colour you produce the day after consuming 15 schooners and a dodgey vindaloo, as a slight point of difference from the overall colour scheme. I'm sure the WT's LU forum members would be happy to give this jersey the tick of approval, if consulted.

Maybe we could make a competition of it, with members providing different designs. The winner gets the pleasure of telling Brooks his services won't be required for 2024.

@skeepe, @MugaB and I were very excited for the Raiders.

The bravest win I’ve seen for a long long time.

Reflects very well on Ricky and his coaching staff.

Due when due.

Partisanship is appropriate, but that Raiders turnaround was next level.
