They're just a well balanced team compared to us. Not our day.
Not our day, but definitely some answers required when you've had 40 put on you. Not good enough, even with the injuries. Like, everyone has been really poor across the board to be honest.

And I even think Gamble could've offered something today. It's a point of difference, a long kicking and creativity option on the side of the field. You don't lose any of Sharpe's attributes, you only enhance them. And you don't have a faulty handbrake in one of the most important positions in the game getting exposed with and without the ball for 80 minutes. I'm not suggesting Gamble is the saviour or we would've won this game, but at this point the answer is probably anything that doesn't involve Hunt and De Courcey.

It's the Newcastle way really. Read their own hype despite glaring flaws.

Yep, I've been all for keeping Hunt in to give Sharpe more reps in the halves and maintain the consistency... and that's fine when it's not costing you, but when a team exposes it like this I think you have to act.
I dont think Smith has been any better today though. It's a tough call for Holbrook to make for the Roosters game

No he hasn't, but there's a bigger picture. We need Smith in the halves way more than we need Hunt at fullback. It's pretty obvious.

Smith has been bad but I think he provides quite a bit more at this point. Still a weak link in D though for sure and it's hard to hide him.

I think we’ll be ok and still pick up some wins this season. This has been bad but it was equally bad against the Wahs but it didn’t seem to hurt their confidence.

Eventually having 3.8mill of our cap on the sidelines was going to get exposed. And Tigers are good enough to do it

We're even let their plodders regularly run for 10pcm.
We're straight up knackered. We've basically just tackled for 75 minutes. Keeping them under 50 here is actually an effort.

There we go, there's one thing Hunt is good at. I'll take the try.

We'll be fine. We're not gonna win the comp but finals is doable and we'll play some exciting footy along the way. Kalyn and Brown transform this team.
