Something isn’t right in the first grade squad. The injuries are hurting us - no doubt. But KP is non-existent, Fletch has disappeared, Best is a shadow of what he has been. Defence has been the saving grace but it has been terrible today.

It all starts with AOB and KP. It will be interesting to see what is said in the presser, but if the attitude keeps going down this path, perhaps both of the positions need some change…

AOB needs to be a better motivator than this crap today - and if it is outside influences, thinking of next year, worried about their position in the club etc - he needs to sort that shit out pronto.

If KP can’t be motivated to put in by a big fat salary and doesn’t want to be here - time for him to go. Seriously.

If he was getting in there and trying like say Crossland or Marzhew and was shit and things just not coming off I wouldn’t care. I don’t expect him to win us games off his own back, but what I do expect is that as the captain of the club he doesn’t completely go missing and show zero urgency like he has. That sets the tone for the whole team.

Ponga literally just fell backwards onto his back when the defensive line looked too scary. What the f**k? You'd get penalized for voluntary tackle for that in years gone past.

This is the stuff I’m talking about. I don’t expect him to win us games on his own, but at least try and set a good example.

The spine were terrible today, which puts pressure on the other players in attack, when puts pressure on the defence. It starts with them.

AOB and the senior players including KP really need to sit down and have some hard truths. AOB needs to acknowledge he can’t ignore the attacking side of the game as much as he wants to and the senior players need to take some responsibly and consistently try. Form doesn’t just happen. You have to work for it.
