As the 'usual suspects' get mentioned, I would like to say that IMO both Clark and Eisenhuth deserve a mention. Clark played with plenty of aggression & his defense was very good in the small minutes he did play. Eisenhuth ran liked he did a couple of years back, made plenty of metres and looked good in the 13 role.

I've never gotten the hate towards the Huth. He always does his job. To me him and Twal are interchangeable. Twal is a little better but they both work all game and get the job done. You need guys like that along with athletic middle forwards who are going to bend the line consistently. We have Aloiai and Mikaele doing that for us. Musgrove probably can as well.

I never rated Clarke but geez he has been good. He isn't great. He isn't athletic but he is a big body who rips in.

Our forward pack and outside backs look a lot better. Then when you have Grant causing havoc up the middle and Reynolds and Brooks pushing up alongside him we just look so much better.

Huth cops stick because we know he has that performance in him yet rarely plays like that. Credit to him though he has filled the Twal role fairly well in his absence

Nah, Huth previously did his job, sometimes pretty well and then he went missing. He played yesterday only because Twal is out, his job now is to step up and play even much better and convince the coach that he deserves a spot when Twal returns.

He and Twal are interchangeable !!! You haven't been watching, clearly.
"I never rated Clarke but geez he has been good" has been poor to ok, you haven't been watching, clearly.

Lots of positives with all the players last night but unfortunately im struggling to find anything good to say about Embye .. the luckiest player not only to get selected to play NRL but also amazingly earning obscene amounts of money .

Id replace rarely to "sometimes doesnt " Eiso has plenty of ability and most of it suits the new game now , he defends well , can play huge minutes and the biggest threat is his offload ... waiting for the green light from the coach to let him start utilizing it .

yeah he’s never really been awful, but sometimes it just looks like he plays like he’s no heavier than a wet cloth. He has the ability to punch holes in the defense when he wants to

I think our forward pack is shaping nicely, when fully fit id like to see

8. Musgrove
9. Grant
10. Aloiai
11. LL
12. Garner
13. Twal

14. Mikaele
15. Huth
16. McIntyre
17. Blore/Packer?

Fully fit I don’t think Seyfarth, Chee Kam, Taylor Clarke etc make the team. Should be depth only

Spot on, OTT.
Eiso was actually making post contact metres.
McIntyre reminds me of Brown at Parra, hits hard and his tackles stick . . . but he's not an annoying XXXX.
On the subject of Eiso . . . there is no such thing as a huth.
There are plenty of Eisenhuth's in my local area, grew up with them, went to school with them, played some footy with them. None of them are called huth. never have, never will.
They are all Eiso's.
Edit 2: For a brutal assessment of the game, jump onto "the Kennel". Those poor doggies fans are very straightforward towards their team. If anyone here likes Holland or Lewis . . . . just have a quick read of what their own fans think of them.

I think that 8 to 16 are the strongest, Id go with Packer as 17.

Id be organising a behind closed doors game for the reserves V someone who could be sworn to secrecy.

He does look the goods, packs a punch above his weight too, can hit. Be a shame to see him go back to Melbourne, will be one player I’ll only have best wishes for when he does. To come to the Tigers and play like he has in the circumstances really illustrative of his character. Has well and truely proven himself an NRL player with real representative potential
Grant was interviewed after the game by Marty Johns & he gave Madge a huge wrap about helping him, interesting he didn’t mention Or give Bellamy Any credit at all.

Mbye has been good the last few weeks. Done the job. He looks much better when he gets the ball early, there’s been some inkling that he is gonna hit some form, a couple of half line breaks and beaten first tackles a couple of times. It looks to me as though he is starting to regain a bit of confidence in his play. I’d be giving someone else the captains role and leaving him to play footy. He has been much maligned it will be a good advertisement for Maguire if Mbye does start to play some real good footy.

Madge has a whole lot of players on the up at the moment.

in the presser he suggested that we should be higher than we are on the ladder and that decided 3 weeks ago the team was doomed unless he imposed rule by selection terror!

Now that we are emerging into a competitive side, there’s no family favourites or room for sentiment.

Its survival of the fittest, dog eat dog. Mate hunts mate.

He’s got right into their heads. They think Madge, they live Madge.

The net result for mine has been a general increase in form ( footy production) and with that, some potent options in attack.

Brooks looks like he’s loving the relief and can now opt in or out, as can Reynolds. We have the best Hooker in the game at the moment ( by a long way).

The new rules also seem to suit our mobile hustling pack. Ready to belt people if and when required.

AD is another fringe superstar if he can settle in.

Our wingers are lethal and one very ill Bj took 4 dogs over the line with him last week and still scored.

That’s almost a third of their whole side. Dont get me started on his no-look intuitive flick pass.

If this side keeps up the heart, I don’t care who comes back from injury, they can warm a bench... if they are lucky.

Even bloody Mbye is believing he can play the game again. Good grief wtf?!!

I hope you're taking the piss. He offers absolutely nothing on attack, its embarrassing. He's got to be the most one dimensional and most easily defended centre in the game.

Haha I like your posts...you flip flop like a flop flipping flappurist.
Good win yesterday. Boys showing some greatly improved control and form.

Not so fast, I was solid as a rock v dogs pre game.

My only fault was not respecting Lolland enough.

You’re a bit late to the party too!

Corey is yesterday’s hero and I soon saw the evil dwelling in Latrell dark heart....sure.

Life is a game of rugby league.

Eisenhuth was great. I’ve noticed the last couple of years he tends to start the year well but really fades at the back end.

McIntyre has been a huge surprise. Dude was playing center/wing 3 years ago. He still isn’t the biggest bloke yet is basically playing prop and has been significantly better then Seyfarth and Clarke. I love his aggression in defence and he did really well for Talaus try. I know it was a 2 on 1 but he had a lot of room so needed to draw the winger in which he did, not many other forwards would have pulled it off.

I still don’t rate Clarke, he is backup at best. Doesn’t make meters, dominate in defence and threw a stupid offload which got turned over and the Dogs scored their try next set.
