That will be explained away as ( millisecond) duty of care...there's no such thing as " shit happens: anymore
Where’s the duty of care, the replays while he was laying around on the ground taking a dive showed that his leg was clear of Fainu. There was no foul. It was a bitch of a call and in the set resulting Tualagi runs like a gazelle to score the try, not 30 secs after his ankle is broken. Irks me (not just in this instance, every game you watch someone is taking a dive).

I was being facecous...they have to come up with something as it was the bunker ref.

LOL@ Weststigers.. Same Same , everything we do is f**king ground hog day..
Firstly what merkin of a club thinks its cool to try make money and offloading THEIR TEAMS home ground to Cum Bank Stadium where Parramatta hasn't lost a possession count since it was friggin
built .
And we all know and see the rest, pick a year pick a commandment and it was there for all to see. Close this shithole down!

I don’t care about what the media say …I do care that Turuva got done for interference on Addo Carr when AC ran into his left shoulder on purpose while running in a different direction to where the ball was..and Turuva had his back to AC and just ran as you would …That was the beginning of the end

Haha I feel the same. At the game today it felt like an away game for us. As soon as I heard the cheers the parra cheers were just as loud as ours…and the announcer trying to rev up the crowd lol what a train wreck. Just bin it

if we’re going to host Easter Monday just play it at Accor

Checking back in after the inevitable. I have got to say the reffing has pretty much killed my enjoyment of the game. How can it only be two weeks ago it is a crack down on direct contact to the head and then first tackle in the game the ref misses a sin bin offence (fair enough in the run of the play) but the video ref doesn’t pick it up. But they can somehow find a millimeter where Finau grazes the leg of that scumbag faker.

Today was a big test for this side to see how well it could to with the adversity posed on them during the week. Sadly, we failed that test.....and failed it badly.

From minute one, we just did not approach the game with the right mindset. We did not have the same focus to detail that we have had in every other game this season. It showed through the reactions of Turuva who had not the best of week's off the field. I hope management are checking in with him as he has shown up every other week....but did go missing today.

Im very concerned about our halves. Galvin is now clearly no longer an option for many reasons. Douehi is just too slow for that role while Luai (I hate to say it) is doing precious little to get things going. 20 mins in the second half just doesn't cut it for a guy we paid a shitload of money for. I know his role in lifting this club in many ways has been significant off the field. Thing is, if he doesn't get it done on the field, it loses its effect.

Im now genuinely worried about how our season is going to go from here. I'd like to think the boys are still very much together but that is going to be put to the test against a shark side that is not playing that well but loaded with talent.

I dont know what was worse, the officiating or the first 10 mins after halftime. First tackle, blatant shoulder charge to the head, playon. 3mins later we get a penalty, blatant strip, play on. The absolutely insane Fainu hip drop who didnt even land on Tuilagi. Moses whacking a bloke across the head as hes about the score, the Knights literally had a guy binned yesterday and the bunker said it was more to do with an illegal act (high tack;e) stopping a try. I havent blown up about the referees once this year, yet that was borderline cheating what we witnessed today. We didnt get a single set restart.

All that considered how we let the Eels get the momentum in that 10 minute period was all on us. We lost our heads and going down by 16 mid way through the second half is always going to be difficult to claw back.

I dont think it was really a reflection on the club, today was a fairly high level game. Easter Monday always has wackiness, controversy etc. Both clubs treat this more like a finals game then a regular club match. We were also onto our 5th spine comb in 7 rounds which Id bet is the highest in the comp and had a guy playing his first game in the halves for more than 2 years. To me the effort was there, we were just dumb + had absolutely nothing go our way. The scroreline flatter the Eels at the end, they scored 2 tries picking up our mistakes as we were chasing points.

We desperately need someone players back, really hoping Latu is fit for next Sunday but would say its unlikely. Hunts impact off the bench was massively missed. I dont think Lauilili is anywhere near first grade but considering the outs in the backs we really dont have anyone else.
