Cheers, very noble of you mate. I'm sure the Sharks will be there at the pointy end of the season.

I'm not holding my breath.
We got the Eels on Friday night.
Moses will tear us a new one.
Then Manly at Manly. We never win there.
Then the Storm.

Oh, and our coach is an imposter.

You got some significant injuries mate. You have a good roster and just have to get your best team playing every week together. It's exactly our issue but today, for me, ANZAC Day weekend was the winner, Lest We Forget.

Yeah we've got a good roster.
We've just got an absolute pillock in charge of organizing them and coming up with the game plan.

Where's the Presser, and the team song. I can't wait to see them.
If the presser is all about Galvin, I'll be hissed.

I think one of the most pleasing aspect of today is even though there are 5 teams on 8 points, it's our points differential that's awesome...14
I wonder what it was this time last year.
Didn't we lose the first 5 games? Or was that the year before?

I was glad Luai went off and api went to half.. to me Luai looks really unsure about what his go to play is…so he ends up doing his stop start thing and he ends up screeching to a halt..He needs to start with just passing the ball as he did for nsw and then chime in with his running and kicking game when it’s time..
Toa’s running through walls... What a try assist for Turuva. Only a handful of the top centres can do that

I'm still too pumped to put up a 3-2-1 thread so I'll put it in here.
May -3 His stats have already been posted. I really couldn't believe what I was seeing from him today. What an athlete.
Big Red - 2 The guy is all heart. An energizer bunny. Was in everything.
Adam Doueihi - 1 Iced the big moment and was pretty good with a lot if his jinking runs. So many players to choose from. Great team effort.

Last year we won rounds 3 and 4, with a round 1 bye. 6 points and -49 differential (2 big losses in rounds 7 & 8 blew it out).

Your the man Marshy.
Yeh there you go , a minus 49 diff.
Our D this year has been awesome.
Has anyone noticed Bula's effort today in covering. It was impressive.
He really slipped backwards when he injured his shoulder but now that he's fit again he's got more confidence in making those last ditch corner tackles.

That was so awesome. My knock on this team is that we go to pieces when we get dud calls. I have never in my life seen such a dud call when Pole got 10 minutes. It was unreal. We played tough from that point on though and we got the win.

Doueihi deserves a wrap. He kicked that goal but he has been looking slow and lacking any impact. He came up with some really good runs today.

I thought Galvin was ordinary. Luai needs to take more of the 5th tackle options. To'a can do stuff other centres can't. Turuva is great. May is a beast. Hunt showed that he can give us some impact. Sione was great.

We were awesome. Hopefully they can build from this game because I thought we looked heaps better than Cronulla who are a good team.

It is almost worth thinking about starting TDS and bring Api on after 20 so he can use his strength to attack the tiring ruck.

Agreed on May, he is in the stage where Haas was a couple of years ago with the Broncos that we are better with May on the field, but we can’t run the guy into the ground when we have players (when fully fit) that can give him a 20 minute spell
I hadn't thought of that plan with TDS and Api but it certainly has merit.

For a neat comparison, through 8 matches we were 2-6 with a -63 differential (miscalculated my previous post, should have been -55)

12-32 vs Canberra (-20)
32-6 vs Cronulla (+6)
17-16 vs Parramatta (+7)
16-26 vs Dolphins (-3)
12-24 vs Dragons (-15)
6-22 vs Panthers (-31)
10-34 vs Broncos (-55)
14-22 vs Bulldogs (-63)

If I can remember correctly we had at least one player binned in every game from Parramatta onwards, including 2 vs the Dogs.

I actually thought it was worse than that :)
When did we have a horror start. I'm sure we lost first 5 games recently or am I dreaming again.

Not sure how we escaped with the points, Cronulla were all over us once Pole went to the bin. Should have iced the game in the first half. Still the boys showed great resolve. I thought we were cooked for the year after last week, but this team still has something about them.
Just the addition of a couple of winners that has transformed us imo. Still a lot of work to do to make the 8.
