Hes been phoning it in since Brown was announced. Hate to pin it on that but you don't back up 2 MOM performance (RD1 & RD2) with complete disinterest for 5 rounds without a trigger.

He’s absolutely taking the piss.

No doubt though there will be a lot of the usual comments here and in the media throwing around the “poor Kalyn having to play for the Knights, he should get out to win a premiership blah blah blah”.

Honestly he’s the highest paid player in the comp and phoning it in. The suffering party here isn’t Kalyn. It’s the club running around with a captain that won’t have a go unless we’re on the front foot. Most of the other players are complete shit, but at least they’re trying. He should be dropped if we’re being serious.

It's hard to ignore the timing, I agree. Can't imagine why it would phase him tbh. He's still on more money, he's still the big dog in town. It doesn't make any sense, but it's hard to ignore it at face value.

Hes parking himself on the opposite side of the ruck the ball is going half the time. The Tigers was the worst game for it. He's obviously had a kick up the ass since because he's touching the ball more, but he's still nowhere near where he needs to be.

He threw poor Gagai so many shit passes tonight it wasn’t even funny. Our longest serving player and he’ll be the one to cop the criticism and the calls that he’s “past it” while Ponga just gets sympathy for how many errors the players around him make.
