Of course he is. The same forum witch hunters were after Duges & he has turned out to be our shining light in the backs.

You are right but geeez, after a whole bunch of whinging about playing wing and (look at me) looking up to the sky and plenty of injuries etc etc

And now the injuries or voices in his head have resurfaced.. Is he really worth all the drama?

Depends who you believe? There are voices in the club, more than his head. Also Rothfield has a driven Agenda because him & feefs call him for the grub that he is & refuse to play ball with the Telegraph. You read enough bad things , mud tends to stick.
Then you have Hooper , who has a known feud going with Dugan., the Sharks etc.
I expect to see him ripping it up for us this year. I have a feeling that he thinks his body is not good for long pre season & 30 rounds of footy , so has taken his own direction on getting right, to be right at the end of the season. Has probably upset a few at the club in doing so. he doesnt seem too fazed. & then you hear how King in his initial hours of darkness, consoled in Duges.
So in answering your question, I think he has every right to protest to the coach about his preferred position. The coach has every right to put him where he thinks its best for the team. Duges looks like he lost his dog on a good day so I dont believe all the sulking crap. So yes I think he is worth the money & the trouble is storm in a tea cup to what actually taking place.

You could be right about it being a storm in a teacup and he is genuinely injured.

But you can't argue with a straight face that he's worth the money.

I dont really care what any player gets paid. People in better positions than anybody on this forum know better. Last year our season was on knife edge after multiple losses where the team could have chucked it in plummetting us into a spoon position. The inspirational & strong play of Dugan helped the team keep their heads up, work through the losses & make the finals. Was it just Duges? No. Morris (another hated by the forum when he was signed) was the other inspirational effort guy.
My question is "how much is finishing in the finals & not contending for the spoon worth"?
Whatever Duges was paid, he was worth every cent in my books.

Duges is being paid elite player money and should have been professional enough to rest and recover in the offseason in order to be right to go from round 1. Instead hes thrown the toys out of the cot ás has Josh Morris because the coach has decided to go with youth (Xerri and Ramien) in the centres. At least Morris had the class to aim up in the pre season while requesting a release.

For what it’s worth I expect to see Dugan play round 1, at the latest round 2. On the wing

If that happened that would be the biggest slap in the face to the playing group who slogged it out in the pre season whilst Dugan focused on trying to get himself medically retired when no Doctor found anything.

If John Morris wants drama at the Club with the playing group put Dugan straight into the side. But I trust John Morris that he won’t be thinking anything of the sort as he seems to not take any bullshyte and doesn’t reward poor character, poor attitude and poor work ethic.

No one won in the Jimmy/Moylan trade. Call it a nil all draw.

Yep we took an early lead but it's definitely evened out. Your lot are Maloney-free now but we got spaghetti legs for another 2 seasons I think. At this rate you're in the box seat now.

The other trade we won on was The Penguin for The Limmo. I miss The Limmo, I know most of you guys hated him, but by Christ he was a good player for us. Great footy smarts for a winger. The Penguin was good value for ironing some f**ker out from time to time, but those hands.....

There have some good ones between The Shire & Penrith over the years.

I think Limmo copped a bit of misdirected anger because he replaced Peach.

Who the f**k is The Penguin?
