Matt's relaxed attitude to injury management and rehab was common knowledge. Sharks took a gamble that it was a Penrith culture issue. If anything, living in paradise has made him give even less of a shit.

I would put heavy stipulations on him when he goes.

He cant play against us.
He cant play for the rorts against any team above us on the ladder.
If we get an injury to a winger/centre he has to come back and play for us til they're back.
He has to play for the rorts with his bootlaces tied together.

That should do it.

I don’t think so.

I think he must be a season seat member as I see him in the stands every weekend.

He sits near the players so he might know one of the players.

The other trade we won on was The Penguin for The Limmo. I miss The Limmo, I know most of you guys hated him, but by Christ he was a good player for us. Great footy smarts for a winger. The Penguin was good value for ironing some f**ker out from time to time, but those hands.....

There have some good ones between The Shire & Penrith over the years.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a dumber footballer than Pomeroy, and yes, I've seen BJ Leilua play.

I did love watching him flatten opponents though, even if sometimes it wasn't when he was supposed to.

Limmo was a great club man (by all accounts so was Pomeroy), and a decent first grade winger. I never got the hate for him either.
