Never have been a Cowboys or Maroons fan but had the highest amount of respect for Matt Scott. Truly outstanding front rower, the best in the game for a time. Seems like he would be a really nice bloke to have a beer with as well.

The way he did this and dismantled Melbourne in Melbourne in the 2015 prelim was just unreal. Definitely at another level. So was quite a few of his Origin performances.

Such a clinical performance that night. JT even got an early mark. Very rare to see the cheating scum beaten so comprehensively on their own shitheap.

On a side note, I wish the media would stop calling players “future Immortals”.
An Immortal is not an Immortal until they are an Immortal. Also that out of those players mentioned only one is worthy of being an Immortal.

Agreed. If we want to borrow an Americanism then can refer to them as future hall of famers.

With the amount of so called future immortals running around it will start to lose the special aura that it had.
