Let's formalise it here.

Bad game plans, players out of position, confusing tautolgies every time he opens his mouth.

And there's a year left to run on his contract.

I'm sure he's a genuinely nice guy, but he just can't coach.

Today's match against the Raiders was just the last straw. We had to win to stay in contention. If we couldn't win, at least we should make a game of it. A 74-12 loss is just pathetic.

Surely any calls to get rid of him should intensify now.

Give the reins to Georgallis. I think he would do a better job.

Its not a good sign, but IMO a complete unadulterated thrashing like this is a genuine one-off life-event.

However terrible things are right now, cool heads must prevail.

If Elliot doesnt improve the lads game by the end of the season, his position might have to be "reviewed".

Sharp is coming, but what about muzza?

You can't blame matt elliott for a loss like that the players have to take a good portion of responsibility.

But at least with a loss like that all his deficiencies as a coach that may have been shrouded by a close loss or win can't be hidden.

One thing is for sure his gameplan is boring, I think with the talent we have in our backline if we played a style of football closer to that of the raiders we would be going alot better.

I actually don't think its that outlandish to consider this a statement of sorts from the players that they want Elliott gone. The level of play and intensity they displayed spoke volumes to me and no doubt it was subconscious but I'd say this shows signs of a squad that is not happy and not willing to put in when the chips are down for their coach.

With games against the Warriors, Storm and Sea Eagles, some 40 point shellackings could become the norm and surely Elliott has to be reviewed.

A Raider fan here.
If its any consolation the Raiders got beaten 72-30 by the Knights at home a few years back.
It was his last year.

Everytime Jennings got the ball he looked dangerous. Pity he only got the ball 5-6 times in the match. Well done matt Elliott, confuse the Raiders by keeping the ball away from our danger man.

With the players we have in our backline we should be playing a brand of footy alot closer to that the raiders play.

It was a strange old game of football. I dont think I have ever seen a game with so many passes thrown. It was almost like a game of touch or 7 a side out there, and we were clearly outclassed by a much better side.

Just think that Elliott only just managed to get that side into the 8, when he was steering the ship, and certainly could get them to put 74 on us with his stupid game plan.

Bring back Brett Kenny and Nigel Wright. They got a Flegg title without too much fuss and both got punted straight afterwards. Well done Panthers management. You're on the ball.

the club cannot go forward untill
Mick leary CEO is gone.he has no talent at all.Our club has no recognised half or 5/8 in the club Why .Simple he seen no need to sign anyone
Players signed by leary
Ohallaran last seen out at windsor but not near first grade
Worth again windsor at best
J Williams not wanted by souths because he could not play but we signed him
R. Williams cut by st george through disipline but we sign him

Then there is super coach elliott
plays players out of position
refuses to look outside the square .Blair is not a 5/8 but keeps getting picked there when he has to pick a player when injury happens
the defence slides instead of getting up in the face of opponents

The mutinhy must start .Eliott and leary out both on massive paypackets but noth deliver nothing

Leary didn't sack Lang or hire Elliott and was not the one who said he wanted some of the players named by MM. He has been CEO for only a number of months.

Bring back Ross Gigg as football CEO, or maybe Glenn West. Pretty much any average player from the 1970's because they clearly have the credentials to develop a strategy and build a winning combination.

I think when a coach calls a player like Pauly Aiton on the telephone and tells him he's back to Windsor for no apparent reason other than he doesn't fit into the new strategy of the side, and then leaves him at Windsor because he simply doesnt like the bloke shows Elliott's professionalism.

Leary is a shrewd negotiator and knows his footy but there is nothing much he can do if the coach can call up a higher authority whenever he wants something,or somebody.

Glenn Matthews is an accountant and a financial wizz. Doesn't know alot about footy or recruiting and developing players. Leary has been looking after that side of the business for some time now.

Matty Elliott might be a nice bloke, but clearly doesn't have the personality to get the best out of the very talented Polenisian junior base in western Sydney. He also plays favourties, and doesn't take anything on board from the massive fan base the club has.

The fans have been screaming for Masada to be if FG all year and his response is to leave him in 20's and play Sammut on the wing.

You see that's the problem with the fact that Matthews went after Elliott (despite a promise to lang) and heralded him as the 2nd coming. He has his own ego wrapped up in Elliotts ability to be successful.

well then its time to let the board know how we feel bring banners to the next home game. The talent is in the club but the people in charge are destroying it.We can not change the board they just got elected for 2 more years. But we can make life very uncomfortable for them
