So the next question is was the appointment of Leary as football CEO an attempt to give the football opertaions independence from such interferance by matthews
On the surface it seemed there was a realisation that the job needed to be done fulltime. But it may have also been an attempt to put a discreet distance between someone and another bad year.

The name Graham Murray come straight to mind.

I say, bring back Dennis Coffey and maybe get the big Unit MG on the board with his brother in law and injuect the voice of reason into the club.

Who knows, Dennis might be able to entice his son in law back from the Titans to re-float the sinking Panther ship.

Thats what we need.
Maybe get Brohman to coach.
He can fatten the boys up a bit by lending them some of his food.

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned who is running the club and why they arent they held accountable?

Sons and daughters of Penrith, there will be no peace until the dynasty has concluded.

The club has outgrown feudalism.

You can change the pawns on the table, but its the puppet masters who need to be outed.

The men in the shadows...

I think you guys should chase Michael Hagan, a premiership winning coach, undoubted recruiting takents, and a better record than Elliott.

( and I will subsidise his taxi fare from Parra), strange how the 2 biggest junior areas have some strange ideas on coaches)

We would be happy to take any other coach. Just as long as Elliot is gone.

NONONONO! Don't listen to him! He doesn't represent us. There are plenty out there, surely we can get a decent coach of good fit with Penrith's style and talents...

Yes that will improve our wrestling in the ruck.

the red headed hooker on high street would do what elliott has failed to do
increase our thrust in attack
get the boys to rise to the occasion
the prize for man of the match would want them to win a lot more

This is what I believe and I mentioned this last week. GM has a great side step on him. I feel for Leary as he is the one going to take the heat from the fans.

I've heard Graham Murray. But I'm not so sure he is an answer. If he is being strongly considered then I hope they only sign for a year with extra years as an option.

I'm actually warming to Shane Flanagan though. Mainly because the game is changing and we need more modern ideas.
