Craig's cousin, Darrell "Tricky" Trindall.
One of the best half-backs in the prestigious history of South Sydney. Certainly one of the best I ever saw in red and green along with Craig Coleman. Tricky was a gutsy and courageous player, he always put his body on the line. He could also play. With a neat passing game, rare step and a brilliant kicking game, he was a defences worst nightmare.

Most people mature as they become more experienced in their jobs. Not so it seems with Matthew Elliott. The same things you Panther fans are complaining about are the exact same things we Raiders fans complained about for the last few years of his tenure. Playing favourites, f**king promising juniors around to the point where they left the Raiders, not being able to sign anyone of note, frustrating, boring game plans despite having some great attacking players, players out of position (Jason Croker in his twilight years and Terry Martin at 5/8th for f**ks sake).... it's all there.

Sadly for you guys, your board did not make the brave decision. They took the easy way out, and gave him another year to sabotage your side. Do not be surprised to find more promising juniors moving on next year, as they fail to make first grade despite clearly having more talent than the player in front of them.

Matthew Elliott is a cancer on any club he coaches, and I hope he's one you will not have to suffer much longer.

probably because elliott loves himself so much that he doesn't actually think there is anything wrong with what his doing and therefore no reason to walk.

At this point I just have to keep telling myself only one more year.

Penrith couldn't afford to pay out the final year of his contract and then pay another coach and his staff for the following season, I believe it would have cost them close to a million dollars.
So the rot will set in for another year.
